Jenna Bush Hager Reveals Her Daughter’s Advice on Getting More Botox
Jenna Bush Hager’s daughter Mila speaks her mind freely.
Bush Hager, 44, shared a laugh about her teenage daughter’s suggestion that she could use a bit more work during a May 20 episode of Today. “I always think, I could use a little more [Botox], but then I worry that, being on TV, I might end up unable to move my face,” she commented.
Bush Hager continued, “Just the other day, Mila said, ‘You know, you could probably use a little Botox.’ I had to remind her, ‘Mila, I already get Botox.’”
She humorously added, “If you ever feel too full of yourself, just hang out with a 13-year-old for a bit.”
Bush Hager, who shares Mila along with Poppy, 10, and Henry “Hal,” 6, with husband Henry Hager, mentioned that she actually adjusts her appearance based on her daughter’s feedback.
“She pointed out my hair highlights, saying she could see my grays,” Jenna added. “And yes, I do make changes based on her input. I even made an appointment!”
She also took Mila’s advice to heart before her interview with Queen Camilla. “I just interviewed the queen, and after reading my introduction to Mila, she said, ‘It’s too much about you, Mom.’”
“I thought, ‘Come on, Mila,’ but then woke up at four in the morning realizing, ‘She’s right; it is too much about me.’” Jenna rewrote her introduction just hours before the interview.
Jenna has previously discussed how her children are honest about her looks, including her new blunt bob, during a conversation with Leslie Bibb in a November episode of Today.
Mila immediately voiced her dislike for the bob, while Poppy asked, “Why would you do that?” Meanwhile, Hal reacted by crying at his mom’s new hairstyle.
