Justin Theroux and Wife Step Out on Red Carpet Following Son’s Arrival
Justin Theroux and Nicole Brydon Bloom made a stunning entrance on the red carpet in New York City just two days after announcing the arrival of their baby son.
Theroux, 54, looked sharp in a navy blue button-up suit, while Bloom, 32, wowed attendees in a black halter gown by Moschino at the world premiere of The Devil Wears Prada 2 at Lincoln Center on Monday, April 20. (Theroux plays a supporting role in the sequel as Emily Blunt’s on-screen boyfriend.)
During the red carpet event, Theroux shared with People that the most rewarding aspect of fatherhood so far has been “being able to pour all the love that I have into my son.”
The new parents announced their delightful news on Saturday, April 18, revealing the birth of their first child, a boy. They have yet to disclose their son’s name publicly.
“He’s here 🕊️ we are so in love,” Theroux and Bloom wrote in a joint Instagram post.
Additionally, they published a heartwarming black-and-white image of their newborn son resting peacefully on the Beetlejuice Beetlejuice actor’s chest.
Congratulations poured in from the couple’s friends and fans, including Theroux’s former wife, Jennifer Aniston, who “liked” the baby announcement on Instagram. (Aniston and Theroux were married in 2015 after working together in the comedy Wanderlust but divorced three years later. Aniston is now in a relationship with hypnotist Jim Curtis.)
This year has been eventful for Theroux and Bloom, who tied the knot last March in an intimate ceremony reportedly held in Tulum, Mexico. Bloom donned a stunning white wedding gown designed by Victoria Beckham, while Theroux complemented her in a matching white tuxedo.
In December 2025, news surfaced that Theroux and Bloom were expecting their first child. Bloom later opened up to The Hollywood Reporter in February regarding the excitement surrounding her impending motherhood.
“I’ve always wanted to be a mom. I love kids,” she expressed at that time. “I’ve always been looking forward to this chapter in my life, and Justin is excited too.”
Bloom also reflected on how she and her Hollywood star husband plan to juggle parenthood with their demanding careers.
“It’ll have its challenges with going back to work, but I’m just thrilled and very happy,” she shared.
Bloom currently portrays Agent Jane Driscoll in NBC’s post-apocalyptic thriller series Paradise and stars in the upcoming film Handle with Care alongside The Umbrella Academy’s Justin H. Min. Paradise was renewed for a third season by Hulu in March.
Meanwhile, Theroux’s new film The Devil Wears Prada 2 is set to premiere on May 1, and he’s also involved in the upcoming spy thriller Billion Dollar Spy, alongside Russell Crowe, Vera Farmiga, and Tony Goldwyn.
