Kendall Jenner’s Iconic Met Gala Looks Over the Years
Kendall Jenner dazzles at every Met Ball she graces with her presence.
Whether in stunning gowns or playful dresses, Jenner knows how to steal the spotlight at the prestigious event.
The Kardashians star made her first appearance at fashion’s most significant night in 2014, wearing a nude Topshop gown with a strapless neckline and a mermaid silhouette. She accessorized with a dazzling diamond necklace and a glittering clutch. To enhance her sultry look, her hair was styled in voluminous waves, accompanied by a soft glam makeup.
One of the supermodel’s most memorable looks occurred in September 2021, when the Met Gala was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. That evening, she wowed in a stunning Givenchy ensemble inspired by various Audrey Hepburn styles. Her fabulous outfit featured a sweetheart neckline, a corset bodice, and a delicate train adorned with rhinestones. The theme that year was America: A Lexicon of Fashion, celebrating American aesthetics for the Costume Institute’s 75th anniversary.
In a September 2022 interview with Vogue, Jenner reflected on another iconic gala look from 2019, when she coordinated with her sister, Kylie Jenner, for a night to remember. Kendall rocked a fiery orange gown, while Kylie complemented her in a purple jeweled dress.
Kendall shared: “The day before the Met, Kylie and I tried on our looks… and I hadn’t quite felt like I was there yet.” She discussed how her stylist added more feathers in a sketch and requested Versace to create it overnight. “They did such an amazing job! You would never guess that the wing I wore was made literally overnight with all the detail they incorporated,” the runway model enthused.
