Kristin Cavallari Celebrates Son Jaxon’s Birthday with Rare Photos

Kristin Cavallari celebrated her middle child Jaxon’s 11th birthday by sharing never-before-seen photos.

The 38-year-old posted five images on Instagram on Wednesday, May 7. In the photos, Jaxon donned a burgundy suit jacket and blue tie, alongside his mother, who wore a classic little black dress.

“Happy 11th birthday to my baby bull, Jaxy,” Cavallari wrote in the caption. “You’re the funniest guy I know, always up for a good time, and a true gentleman with the biggest heart. Never change, buddy! Just keep growing into the incredible young man you are. I love you so much.”

Cavallari shares Jaxon, along with her 12-year-old son Camden and 9-year-old daughter Saylor, with ex-husband Jay Cutler. Although the couple, who divorced in 2020 after seven years of marriage, initially maintained their children’s privacy, they have opened up as Cavallari prepares for her upcoming reality show, Honestly Cavallari: The Headline Tour.

Kristin Cavallari’s 9-year-old son, Jaxon, expressed a desire to match outfits with her. “When Jax said he wanted to match, my heart exploded,” the Uncommon James founder, 36, posted on Instagram Story on Saturday, June 24, showcasing a photo of them in matching attire.

“I’m really excited for people to see how normal my life is, honestly,” she shared on her “Let’s Be Honest” podcast last March.

She mentioned her kids were “so fun on camera” and “were completely themselves” during filming of the new show, set to premiere on Thursday, June 5, on E!. “I was really nervous at first, thinking my kids would be too, but they were just adorable and authentic, which was really sweet to witness.”

Cavallari noted that the crew also filmed their morning routine of “packing lunches and taking them to school.”

“Even while at home, my kids would come home from school and run on camera,” she added.

Previously, Cavallari stated to Us Weekly that she would not allow her children to participate in reality TV until they were 18 and could decide for themselves. “There’s so much pressure in middle school and high school, and having cameras magnifies that. I want them to stay young and innocent as long as possible.”

However, she explained that the artificial feel of her previous show, Very Cavallari, which aired from 2018 to 2020, led her to involve her children in this new venture.

“One of the issues with Very Cavallari was that my kids are the biggest part of my life. Not including them felt like a disservice,” she explained on her podcast. “If I can’t showcase the most important part of my life, we end up forcing storylines and creating things that aren’t authentic, and I regret that.”

Last month, Cavallari shared special photos of her daughter, Saylor, to mark the launch of their joint jewelry brand. “It’s a big day for my angel baby!!” she wrote alongside the images on Instagram on April 15.

Despite parting ways romantically in 2020, Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler continue to share love for their children. The former couple married in June 2013 and welcomed their eldest son, Camden, the following year. Jaxon and Saylor followed in 2014 and 2015, respectively.

“Saylor has her first jewelry collection out today with [Uncommon James],” the proud mother shared, describing the collection as having a “beachy vibe with seashells, colorful beads, and flamingos.”

“It was a sweet experience to share this journey with my girl, and I couldn’t be prouder of her 💗💗,” she concluded.

The Laguna Beach alum also posted photos of all three kids on Instagram on April 21, expressing, “My favorite nights.” The images show Camden, Jaxon, and Saylor playing outside with the family dogs.

“I would never want my kids to feel overexposed or like they were exploited,” Cavallari mentioned on “Let’s Be Honest.” “It’s a delicate balance with children and media in my career. I want to keep them young and not feel used. However, they were genuinely excited about filming; it was more of a fun experience we could share together.”
