Lindsay Hubbard Responds to Summer House’s 2026 Emmy Nomination
Lindsay Hubbard’s “Hot Hubbs Summer” is officially heating up following Summer House’s nomination for the 2026 Emmy Awards.
“I screamed, I didn’t cry, but I got chills, and I ran a lap around my apartment,” Lindsay, 39, exclusively shares with Us Weekly after the beloved Bravo show received its first-ever Emmy nomination for Outstanding Unstructured Reality Program after 10 seasons on Wednesday, July 8. “Then I started pacing and calling everyone.”
Lindsay, who has been part of the Hamptons-centered show since its debut in 2017, admits she couldn’t “contain my excitement for two hours straight.” (The Emmy nominations were announced on Wednesday morning, with Summer House competing against America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, Love on the Spectrum, RuPaul’s Drag Race: Untucked, and Welcome to Wrexham.)
The TV personality, known for her iconic catchphrases like “Hot Hubbs Summer” and “Don’t Activate Me,” tells Us that once she calmed down, she contacted fellow OG stars Kyle Cooke and Carl Radke to celebrate this remarkable achievement.
“I texted Kyle and Carl first on a group text,” Lindsay reminisces. “Then I reached out to our editors and executives at Truly Original.”
Lindsay notes her messages were “filled with caps, exclamation marks, and extra letters to show my excitement.”

“I am so incredibly proud and excited for our entire team, from our producers and editors to the executives at Truly Original, and of course our cast and crew who have supported us over these last ten years. This nomination is so well deserved!” Lindsay exclaims.
Season 10, which aired earlier this year, gained significant attention after Kyle and Amanda Batula announced their divorce in January. (Amanda, 34, has been with the show since season 1 when she was Kyle’s girlfriend and not yet a full-time cast member.)
After four years of marriage, the couple announced their divorce. The following month, Amanda sparked romance rumors with season 8 newcomer West Wilson, although both denied the speculation initially.
However, on March 31, Amanda and West, 31, confirmed that they had transitioned from a platonic friendship to a romantic relationship.
This revelation surprised fans, especially since West and his ex-girlfriend — costar Ciara Miller — were rumored to be rekindling their relationship during filming in the summer of 2025. West and Ciara, 30, had previously dated in 2023, and Amanda was aware of all the ups and downs as one of Ciara’s former close friends.

During a dramatic three-part reunion special, West admitted to having had “sleepovers” with Ciara in the fall of 2025 but insisted that his relationship with Amanda didn’t begin until February. (He also shared that he was dating Meija Moreno before getting involved with Amanda, but claimed she was never officially his girlfriend.)
The cast, including Lindsay, Amanda, Kyle, West, and Ciara, also filmed Summer House: The Aftermath to provide fans with more clarity regarding Amanda and West’s relationship timeline.
Despite the drama and fallout, Us has confirmed that both West and Amanda will not be returning to the franchise, yet their hookup seems to have provided Summer House the momentum it needed for its first Emmy nomination.
“This season was filled with drama, fun, and the cast’s vulnerability,” Lindsay explains to Us regarding why she believes the show received the nomination. “It was a 16-episode season, followed by a three-part reunion and an additional aftermath episode, totaling 20 episodes of premium content for fans.”
Lindsay, who also stars in the show’s spinoff In the City, commends the editors for flawlessly weaving in current scandals across two shows, which she feels deserves recognition.
She further explains that the production teams did a remarkable job delivering new content without causing confusion for viewers while still telling updated stories, which she found “beyond impressive.”

“They worked tirelessly to edit these episodes and did an outstanding job,” Lindsay adds.
Although Lindsay is always prepared for life’s surprises, she admits to Us that she isn’t ready to draft an acceptance speech yet.
“I don’t want to jinx anything, so I’ll just keep my fingers crossed for now and see what unfolds!” she teases.
The 2026 Emmy Awards will air on NBC on Monday, September 14, at 8 p.m. ET.
