Maitland Ward Compares Earnings from Boy Meets World to OnlyFans Revenue
Maitland Ward shared her earnings per episode on Boy Meets World and compared it to her current revenue from adult content and OnlyFans.
“On Boy Meets World, I believe I earned $20,000 to $25,000 for each episode,” Ward, 49, disclosed in a recent episode of Hollywood Demons, airing on Investigation Discovery on Monday, April 27.
Ward reflected on the uncertainty of her previous job, stating, “You don’t have all the guarantees out there.” She added, “In porn or OnlyFans, I can earn six figures a month.”
She further explained: “I also profit from my adult film sales and am building a brand that I can maintain for as long as I choose.”
Several adult film stars noted in separate interviews that Ward is a unique case due to her success as a former child actor. Hollywood Demons, now in its second season, examines the struggles faced by child stars grappling with the pressures of fame and its associated risks.
“Having faced on-set exploitation, suicidal thoughts, and Hollywood exclusion, some young performers are led to make significant career shifts into adult entertainment,” the episode’s description states. “Former child stars from various backgrounds, including Dan Benson (Wizards of Waverly Place), Maitland Ward (Boy Meets World), and Scott Schwartz (The Toy & A Christmas Story), discuss their career transitions.”
Ward portrayed Rachel McGuire on Boy Meets World from 1998 to 2000 and had appearances in The Bold and the Beautiful between 1994 and 1996.
After transitioning to adult films, Ward expressed that she feels more fulfilled.
“Honestly, I feel like people give me more respect now, especially in Hollywood,” she shared with Fox News Digital in March 2025. “I’m working on pitching my memoir as a TV format and engaging with people who are respectful and positive about my story, particularly younger individuals and industry colleagues.”
She continued: “There’s a lot of positivity surrounding my endeavors. I can create my own brand and content as I see fit. Contrary to expectations, no one has come out to criticize me harshly. Instead, the reception has been overwhelmingly supportive.”
Hollywood Demons airs on Investigation Discovery Monday, April 27, at 9 p.m. ET and will later be available for streaming on HBO Max.
