The Facts of Life Cast: What Are the Original Stars Up to Today?
Over 40 years since its debut, The Facts of Life continues to spark conversations among Us.
The sitcom premiered on NBC in August 1979 as a spinoff from Diff’rent Strokes. The Facts of Life ran for nine seasons, solidifying its status as one of the longest-running sitcoms of the ’80s.
Before concluding in 1988, the journey of boarding school housemother Edna Garrett (Charlotte Rae) was further explored through two television movies. The Facts of Life Goes to Paris was released in 1982, followed by The Facts of Life Down Under in 1987. A third film, The Facts of Life Reunion, brought together nearly the entire cast in 2001, although Nancy McKeon, who portrayed Jo, was unavailable at the time due to scheduling conflicts.
