90 Day’s Armando Shares Update on Daughter’s Hospital Release
90 Day Fiancé alum Armando Niedermeier-Rubio provides a hopeful update on his 13-year-old daughter Hannah’s health struggles.
“Hannah was discharged from the hospital once again,” Armando, 37, shared via his Instagram Stories on Saturday, July 15. “She began experiencing headaches, weakness, and difficulty walking—symptoms the doctors advised us to monitor closely. They discovered some internal swelling, which required her to receive IV medication.”
Earlier this month, Hannah was airlifted from Mexico to a hospital in the United States due to a medical emergency that was initially undetermined. Although she was released within weeks, Hannah was readmitted on Friday, July 24, as her condition worsened.
“Fortunately, the doctors were satisfied with her response to treatment and felt she could leave the hospital,” Armando reported on Saturday. “Hannah is doing better now. Please keep her in your prayers for ongoing healing and recovery.”
He concluded, “Thank you for your ongoing thoughts and prayers. We are grateful for all the love and support.”
Earlier this month, Armando announced that Hannah, whom he shares with his late wife, had unexpectedly suffered a brain bleed before her condition took a turn for the worse. She was quickly taken from their small town in Mexico to Arizona for treatment. Due to visa issues, Armando was unable to accompany his daughter.
“I went to the border. The hospital recognized the urgency of the situation, knowing Hannah was being airlifted to the Phoenix ICU,” Armando stated in a July 16 social media video. “They sent all the necessary paperwork to the border. However, when I arrived, none of my documents were checked. I was simply told, ‘No, we don’t do this here. … You have no options,’ and was sent on my way.”
Instead, Hannah traveled with her grandmother and aunt, both legal U.S. residents.
Armando finally managed to secure an emergency visa the following day, allowing him to reunite with Hannah and his husband, Kenny Niedermeier, in the hospital. (Kenny, 63, had traveled to Ohio for a funeral but was able to fly to his stepdaughter’s side.)
Armando and Kenny’s love story began on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 2, when Kenny moved to Mexico from Florida to pursue their relationship. The couple tied the knot in 2021.
