Nicole Franzel and Victor Arroyo: A Look Inside Their Family Album
Reality stars who became parents! Nicole Franzel and Victor Arroyo welcomed their son, Arrow, in July 2021 after meeting on Big Brother five years earlier.
“After Big Brother, Nicole and I remained friends,” Arroyo shared with Entertainment Tonight in September 2017, disclosing that their relationship blossomed after a chance meeting at the Big Brother 19 premiere earlier that year. “We connected as friends, sharing our lives openly.”
The couple didn’t engage in a showmance during season 18 of the CBS reality competition, which aired in 2016. In fact, Franzel was involved with houseguest Corey Brooks, a fling that faded after the season concluded.
Arroyo and the Michigan native tied the knot in March 2021, having postponed their wedding twice due to COVID-19. “We’ve anticipated this moment for so long, and it’s finally here,” the newlyweds, expecting their first child at the time, told Us Weekly. “All the wedding stress has lifted off our shoulders, and now our focus is on welcoming a healthy and happy baby.”
Four months later, the new dad announced the arrival of baby Arrow. “We’re taking our skin-to-skin time very seriously and can’t seem to put him down; we’re actually fighting over him 😂,” the police officer shared in a July 2021 Instagram update using his wife’s account.
Weeks prior to their son’s birth, the couple revealed they chose the name Victor Arroyo IV, affectionately nicknamed “Arrow.” Franzel elaborated on the choice via Instagram, saying, “A big thanks to the Coco Caliente Listener on our podcast Facebook page who accidentally wrote Arrow instead of Arroyo — you’re the reason we found this name!! 😂🥰,” referring to their podcast.
The reality TV star expressed her desire for a nickname for her son, stating, “I was adamant about not having him called baby Vic or little Vic his entire life. I know people who are 60 and still get called ‘little Johnny’ & they dislike it. 😅”
The first-time mom shared her joy about her little one in a July 2022 Instagram post celebrating Arrow’s first birthday. “My world revolves around you. They say not to do that, but I want nothing else. I’m happiest when I’m with you and caring for you,” she wrote, expressing gratitude to her son for “the best year of my life.”
