3 Must-See Peacock Movies for Your Weekend Binge (November 14-16)
One of the top advantages of subscribing to Peacock in the fall is that Universal Pictures’ summer movie assortment arrives at your doorstep as the temperatures drop.
Even though Bob Odenkirk‘s action-packed sequel, Nobody 2, didn’t perform as well at the box office as its predecessor, it remains an entertaining watch.
It’s the first choice from the Watch With Us team for three must-see Peacock movies to binge this weekend.
Our other selections for the week include a blockbuster remake of an animated classic and the film that kickstarted a franchise making its way back to theaters this weekend.
‘Nobody 2’ (2025)
Don’t be deceived by his dad bod. Hutch Mansell (Bob Odenkirk) is as formidable as they come in Nobody 2, even as his career as an assassin begins to take a toll on his family — including his wife, Becca Mansell (Connie Nielsen), and their kids, Brady (Gage Munroe) and Sammy (Paisley Cadorath). What’s meant to be a relaxing family vacation at a theme park quickly spirals into chaos for Hutch.
When he defends his children from bullies, Hutch draws the ire of the theme park owner, Wyatt Martin (John Ortiz), a corrupt sheriff, Abel (Colin Hanks), and a crime lord, Lendina (Sharon Stone). Hutch receives a stern warning to escape this unhappy kingdom before it’s too late. But these bullies messed with his kids, which means it’s already too late — for them.
Nobody 2 is available for streaming on Peacock.
‘How to Train Your Dragon’ (2025)
One of the most remarkable aspects of the remake of DreamWorks Animation’s How to Train Your Dragon is its ability to maintain the physical appearance of the animated dragons while ensuring they are believable alongside live-action characters. Although dragons are fictional, they appear convincingly real in this adaptation.
The narrative follows Hiccup (Mason Thames), the son of Viking chief Stoick the Vast (Gerard Butler). Although Hiccup isn’t cut out to be a warrior like his father, he makes a discovery that could transform their world. By befriending a wounded dragon he names Toothless, Hiccup realizes that these creatures can be tamed and trained. However, Stoick’s animosity towards dragons might blind him to the truth about them.
How to Train Your Dragon is available for streaming on Peacock.
‘Now You See Me’ (2013)
With the third film in the series, Now You See Me: Now You Don’t, hitting theaters this weekend, there’s no better time to revisit the original Now You See Me. This film introduces a group of magicians known as the Four Horsemen: J. Daniel Atlas (Jesse Eisenberg), Merritt McKinney (Woody Harrelson), Henley Reeves (Isla Fisher), and Jack Wilder (Dave Franco).
Just a year prior, the Horsemen were only illusionists. Now, they boast an array of high-tech illusions that appear to allow them to rob a bank on stage in plain view of the audience without being apprehended. FBI agent Dylan Rhodes (Mark Ruffalo) is left bewildered and unable to convict the Horsemen. That’s when he seeks the expertise of Thaddeus Bradley (Morgan Freeman), a former magician who takes pleasure in revealing the secrets behind magic. If he can expose the Horsemen’s tricks, they will have nowhere to hide.
Now You See Me is available for streaming on Peacock.
