Gwyneth Paltrow’s Daughter Apple Mirrors Her in Breakfast Tutorial

Gwyneth Paltrow’s 21-year-old daughter Apple Martin nearly resembles her twin in the actress’s latest “Boyfriend Breakfast” tutorial video.

The Marty Supreme actress, 53, kicked off her new cooking video shared on Saturday, December 27, by embracing her daughter in their kitchen. Both mom and daughter donned matching navy PJs as Paltrow planted a kiss on Martin’s cheek.

Paltrow then created a delicious breakfast using holiday leftovers, transforming some stuffing from the fridge into waffles. She topped it off with sautéed onions, rainbow chard, and two fried eggs, crafting a dish that could impress even the fussiest boyfriend.

In 2022, Paltrow launched a series of “Boyfriend Breakfast” tutorials inspired by the meals she prepared for her now-husband Brad Falchuk every Saturday morning during their courtship. (Paltrow and Falchuk began dating in 2014 and married in 2018.)

Gwyneth Paltrow doesn’t shy away from cooking topless occasionally — but her daughter Apple might have some thoughts about it. On Saturday, June 14, Paltrow shared a cooking video featuring one of her breakfast recipes. As usual, the video showcased her “boyfriend breakfast” style […]

“When we were dating, I started this tradition of cooking him breakfast every Saturday morning,” she shared with Vogue in September 2022. “I would come up with all these creative breakfasts, dedicating time each week to plan. I dubbed them ‘Boyfriend Breakfasts.’”

Paltrow elaborated that her and Falchuk’s “Boyfriend Breakfasts” emerged from her pondering whether she could “be a feminist while enjoying domestic tasks.”

“[You can] if you have an awareness that you are doing something out of love,” she added.

The Academy Award winner’s most notable “Boyfriend Breakfast” is the original frittata she shared on Instagram in 2022. This recipe blended a classic egg dish with turkey bacon, potatoes, spinach, and onions caramelized in ghee.

Meanwhile, the recent Instagram clip isn’t the first instance of Martin mirroring her famous mother. She closely resembled Paltrow when photographed wearing a white sweater, navy shorts, and matching Mary Jane slip-ons while walking her dog in the Hamptons in July.

Martin drew direct inspiration from one of Paltrow’s iconic fashion moments, wearing her mother’s vintage black Calvin Klein dress to the Marty Supreme premiere in New York City on December 16.

The young socialite and singer told Vogue in September that Paltrow’s style continuously inspires her.

“She’s such a badass regarding fashion; she just does what she wants,” Martin stated. “I feel like I’m reaching a point where I genuinely don’t care what others think. She’s had a significant influence on me.”

Meanwhile, Paltrow admitted to the publication that she considered Martin’s future fashion choices even before her daughter was born. (Apple was born in May 2004, making her Paltrow and ex-husband Chris Martin’s first child. The former couple welcomed their son Moses, 19, in April 2006 before “consciously uncoupling” in March 2014.)

“Strangely, I began saving clothes for Apple 15 to 20 years before she was born,” Paltrow revealed in September. “I don’t just see a piece of clothing; I recall a moment and all the circumstances around it. I’ve kept everything in anticipation of having a daughter one day who would want to explore [my closet].”

Meanwhile, Paltrow’s son Moses made his red carpet debut with his mother at her Marty Supreme screening in Los Angeles on December 8. She later confessed on Late Night With Seth Meyers that it felt somewhat awkward watching the acclaimed drama with Moses because of her intimate scenes with co-star Timothée Chalamet.

“He’s not into that,” Paltrow joked as she covered her eyes with her hands.
