Nick Viall and Wife Natalie Joy Expecting Twins After Three Miscarriages

Nick Viall and his wife Natalie Joy have double the joy to celebrate in 2026 as they are expecting twins!

“Our rainbow babies are finally ready to join us and this time it’s TWINS 🌈🌈,” Viall, 45, shared via Instagram on Wednesday, February 4, in a joint announcement alongside Joy, 27.

The couple revealed the exciting pregnancy news by sharing photos with their 2-year-old daughter, River.

In one picture, Joy’s baby bump is beautifully highlighted while both she and the former Bachelorette participant hold a sonogram of their twins, with Viall cradling River in his other arm. River is proudly wearing a “Big Sis” sweater in celebration of the moment.

In another image, River leans in for a kiss with Joy as Viall holds her. The final photo showcases a series of Polaroids from the joyous pregnancy photo shoot, capturing the family’s happiness.

Joy’s pregnancy reveal is particularly meaningful after the couple endured three miscarriages over the past year.

After welcoming their daughter River in February 2024, Joy has been transparent about the rollercoaster of emotions while trying for a second child.

Joy, who wed Viall in April 2024, revealed in March 2025 that she suffered her second miscarriage just two months after the first.

“While grieving the loss of our second baby at the start of this year, I unexpectedly discovered I was pregnant again,” Joy shared via an Instagram Story at that time. “It took a while for me to come to terms with what had happened, only to be given another chance so quickly.”

Joy explained that following her “immense happiness” with her surprise pregnancy shortly after her first miscarriage, she was devastated to experience another loss so soon.

“We were finally in a place of sheer gratitude. Then, just last week, I miscarried again,” she recalled. “I underwent a D&C this time, which was more challenging than I had expected.”

In August 2025, Viall addressed their podcast listeners on “The Viall Files,” informing them of Joy’s third miscarriage and that she was taking time at home to heal and process her loss.

“As you can see, Natalie is not with us. There’s no easy way to discuss this. … Sadly, Natalie went through another miscarriage,” the former Bachelor stated at that time. “This is her third this year, and our third as well. It’s incredibly difficult to articulate — it f***ing sucks. She’s at home resting and recovering, both physically and emotionally.”

Viall expressed, “It’s been a whirlwind and we’re trying to navigate this as a family. A part of this challenge is appreciating what we have in River, and life goes on. It’s confusing how one is supposed to grieve something like this… but we truly appreciate your support.”

Despite the heartaches faced within a year, Joy remained hopeful about her and Viall’s journey. She shared a heartfelt tribute to him on his birthday in September 2025.

“Obsessed with the life we’ve built together!” Joy expressed via Instagram, showcasing precious moments with Viall. “Happy birthday to my husband and baby daddy!!! Here’s to more babies, more achievements, and even more love ❤️❤️❤️ we are incredibly lucky.”

Three months later, Joy took a moment to reflect on the challenging year the couple endured, sharing one method she used to cope with the losses.

“The year was filled with heartbreak, but I’ve never felt more loved ❤️‍🩹❤️ 2025 was a time for growth, and that’s all I can ask for,” Joy shared on social media in December 2025. “Looking forward to 2026 with my loved ones.”

She also revealed that after she “miscarried two babies and [I] had this ring made,” showcasing a piece adorned with two pear-shaped green gemstones crafted in April 2025 to honor the babies lost in January and March of that year.

She concluded, “Little did I know we’d lose one more before the year concluded,” referencing the August 2025 miscarriage.
