Charlie Puth Responds to Speculation About Expecting Twins
Charlie Puth is clarifying rumors surrounding his potential status as a father of two.
In an Instagram Story posted on Thursday, March 12, the 34-year-old singer refuted claims that he and his pregnant wife, Brooke Sansone, are expecting twins.
Puth shared what seemed to be an AI-generated social media post that displayed artificial images of both him and Sansone, 26, holding what was alleged to be sonograms for “Baby A” and “Baby B.”
The post’s caption read, “Charlie Puth and his wife have received joyful news that they are expecting their first set of twins.”
To dismiss the speculation, Puth humorously wrote in his Instagram Story, “If you couldn’t tell… this is obviously fake lol.”
Although the couple isn’t expecting twins, they are thrilled to welcome their first child.
Puth revealed Sansone’s pregnancy in October 2025 during the music video for his song “Changes.”
The video featured Puth standing next to Sansone, who rested her hands on her baby bump. The “We Don’t Talk Anymore” singer glanced at his wife, gently placed his hands over hers, and smiled before they walked away together.

Later that month, Puth discussed his plans for fatherhood with Sansone during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
“I’m going to be a dad,” Puth announced on the late-night show. “I hope [the] baby likes music because it’s the only thing I’m good at.”
He added, “I feel like I’m going to do what my mom did for me. My mom used to place the headphones — it was the ’90s, so the headphones were huge — on her belly. I think I listened to James Taylor and Luther Vandross, and I got a wide range of music. So I’ll do the same thing, whether Brooke likes it or not.”
Puth and Sansone have been friends since childhood, beginning their romantic relationship in 2022 and later marrying two years later at Puth’s family home.
During an appearance on The Howard Stern Show in 2022, Puth reflected on their shared history growing up in New Jersey.
“As my life becomes more chaotic and I travel everywhere, it’s comforting to have someone close to you that’s known you for a long time,” he shared. “[Brooke has] always been incredibly kind, and I believe she’ll be there for me during tough times — because what is life without ups and downs?”
