Ciara Remembers Russell Wilson Inquiring About Baby Number 5
Ciara revealed that her husband Russell Wilson is eager to have baby number five.
Ciara is already a mom to four children: sons Future, 12, (with rapper Future) and Win, 5, plus daughters Sienna, 9, and Amora, 2. Despite their busy lives with four kids, Ciara shared exclusively with Us Weekly on Friday, July 10, that Wilson is ready for more.
“I will tell you, when I was giving birth to Amora, our fourth, he was like shortly after, ‘So, cinco?’ and I’m like, ‘Wait a minute, slow it down, sir. We just had a baby. Let’s enjoy this moment,’” Ciara, 40, told Us while promoting her partnership with Ross World, Ross’ new creative platform.
She added, “And I’m like, ‘Oh my gosh!’ I said, ‘That is just disrespectful,’ of course with a laugh.”
Nonetheless, Ciara isn’t completely dismissing the idea.
“But you know, listen, I will say this. I love being a mom. It’s my favorite job of all. I can’t say I don’t see us potentially having cinco one day because why not, right?”
Recently celebrating their 10-year anniversary on July 6, Ciara and Wilson also marked the occasion with her new single “Yes” and shared the keys to their enduring relationship.
“We’re super aligned in how we dream and envision our lives together. We’ve always been that way since day one, and I think that’s been game-changing,” Ciara shared. “We’re also very spiritual, so we believe in keeping God and Jesus at the center. You need a strong, positive force in your life that’s beyond you.”
Ciara noted that their faith has helped them navigate their relationship’s ups and downs.
“When challenges arise, you can often find that middle ground, that peaceful place to help you realign and settle things,” she mentioned.
Ciara emphasized that “communication” and dedicating quality time to one another are essential.
“Communication is crucial, and you can’t stop dating each other. That’s key,” she explained. “We still go on dates all the time, and it’s fun. I feel like a kid again each time, even with simple dates in sweatpants.”
She concluded, “Live as youthful as you can for as long as possible and stay connected. We’re pretty much in sync in every aspect of life, which I believe is a significant part of our bond.”
