Sean Lowe’s 8-Year-Old Son Isaiah Hospitalized Due to Type 1 Diabetes

Former Bachelor Sean Lowe and his wife Catherine Giudici are facing some challenges as their 8-year-old son, Isaiah, has recently been hospitalized.

“This past week has been difficult for the Lowes. Our beloved son Isaiah was admitted to Children’s Hospital and diagnosed with type 1 diabetes,” Giudici, 40, shared via Instagram on Tuesday, July 21. “Our amazing pediatrician recognized some symptoms during our annual check-up that concerned her.”

Giudici added, “He had lost 11 pounds since his last visit (we thought it was just a growth spurt) and had been drinking and urinating excessively (the summer heat doesn’t help). Otherwise healthy and active, she conducted some tests and directed us to the emergency room due to the alarming findings. We’re grateful for the nurses, doctors, and staff who provided us a comprehensive education on his condition in just four days.”

In addition to Isaiah, Lowe, 42, and Giudici are proud parents to son Samuel, 10, and daughter Mia, 6.
