Jeff Schroeder and Jordan Lloyd from Big Brother Share Exciting Life Update
Big Brother’s most enduring couple, Jeff Schroeder and Jordan Lloyd, are delightfully enjoying their lives in the Centennial State.
“I love living here in Colorado. This is the ideal place to raise your kids,” Jordan, 39, revealed exclusively to Us on July 31 while celebrating the success of her “Togethermess” podcast with Jeff, 48. “It’s absolutely fantastic. When we first arrived, we had no idea about Colorado. I was amazed at all the activities available when the kids were younger.”
Jeff and Jordan — parents to two sons — initially crossed paths during season 11 of Big Brother in 2009. They later competed on The Amazing Race and tied the knot in March 2016.
While the couple cherishes their memories of life under the Hollywood lights, Colorado has proven to be the perfect environment for raising their children.
“The kids enjoy a ‘90s lifestyle where we live. We reside in a cul-de-sac, and all our neighbors are really close. We get along very well,” Jordan shared. “We often sit in our driveways with drinks while our kids play. Some may think I’m exaggerating, but that’s genuinely how we are.”
Jeff remarked, “Whenever visitors see the kids playing outside, they say, ‘I’m so envious. My friends from Los Angeles comment, ‘This sort of thing doesn’t happen in LA.’ I appreciate that we’re raising our kids the traditional way.”
While audiences often witness romantic relationships blossom inside the Big Brother house each summer, Jeff and Jordan have surpassed fans’ expectations by celebrating a decade of marriage.
When asked about their secrets for enduring love amidst reality TV scrutiny, both recognize their unique journey.
“In just six months, we faced challenges that typically take a decade to navigate, and we emerged stronger,” Jeff reflected on their experiences filming Big Brother and The Amazing Race consecutively. “I was certain that nothing could break the bond we formed early on.”
Jeff believes that laughter and communication are crucial for a successful marriage, while Jordan emphasizes that intimacy and avoiding competition with each other are also essential.
“We’ve never felt jealousy. Instead of thinking, ‘Look what you’ve achieved in your career while I’m at home with the kids,’ it’s always been about supporting each other’s dreams,” she stated.
This summer, Jeff and Jordan are collaborating on several exciting ventures. Alongside their “Togethermess” podcast, they are recapping Big Brother episodes on Jeff and Jordan TV YouTube through a new digital series called “Couch Jury.”
With the support of Creator Trust Studios, they share their candid thoughts on the unexpected turns throughout the season.
“You can tune in live as we enjoy Big Brother and share our thoughts, predictions, and feelings about the season,” Jordan explained. “Jeff hosts a lifestyle show in Colorado called Great Day Colorado. I conduct Amazon Lives every Sunday, which is gaining popularity. We also have new merch launching soon. Life is great.”
Jeff added, “We took a break from Big Brother. … I didn’t want to be that guy still commenting on Big Brother after 17 years, but it truly remains a significant part of our lives.”
