Songs Unveiled for the Premiere of Dancing With the Stars Season 35

Season 35 of Dancing With the Stars is kicking off with a promising two-night premiere, giving fans insight into what performances await following this exciting twist.

ABC has officially unveiled how the celebrity contestants and professional dancers will launch the new season. On the first night of the premiere, set for Tuesday, September 15, the male celebrities will take to the ballroom, each dancing to a chart-topping song from the year of their birth — and one male competitor will be eliminated at the night’s conclusion.

On the following evening, the female celebrities will showcase their talents, each performing to a No. 1 song from their birth year, with another elimination taking place at the end of the night.

The season 35 troupe will also deliver a special performance featuring Carter Williams, Kamri Peterson, Onye Stevenson, and Jaxon Willard. The 16 pairs will be judged during their first performances by returning favorites Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, and Derek Hough.

Dancing With the Stars is set to return to the ballroom with an impressive lineup for season 35. The complete list of celebrity contestants and professional dancers for this milestone season was revealed during the September 2 episode of Good Morning America. These newly announced participants join Ciara Miller, Maura Higgins, Jackson Olson, and Guillermo Rodriguez, among others.
