Rachel Zoe Opens Up About Her Mindset While Filming the New Season of RHOBH
Rachel Zoe is all set to begin filming a fresh season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills with some new faces among the diamond holders.
“I’m completely on board,” Rachel, 55, exclusively told Us while collaborating with Aflac’s Check for Cancer campaign. “It’s all about the more, the merrier. [I] enjoy meeting new people, and hopefully, we can share a lot of laughs.”
In August, Bravo announced that Leah Remini and Million Dollar Listing alum Tracy Tutor will be joining season 16 of RHOBH. The newcomers are anticipated to join Rachel, Kyle Richards, Bozoma Saint John-Watson, Dorit Kemsley, Erika Jayne, Sutton Stracke, Dorit Kemsley, Kathy Hilton, and Jennifer Tilly for another stylish season.
“I’m ready for anything,” Rachel mentioned while hinting at her second season as a Real Housewife. “I can only control my actions, not what others say or do. So, I think it’s like, close your eyes and just jump into it.”
When asked about her aims or aspirations for the new season, Rachel was candid: no specific goals.
“I pretty much wing everything I do,” she laughed. “Especially with reality TV. It’s tough to plan anything ahead.”
While predicting the future on reality shows can be tricky, Rachel emphasizes that individuals can take proactive measures regarding their health. Partnering with Aflac, the designer is launching a limited-edition jacket that serves as a reminder to seek cancer screenings.
“There’s a QR code embedded in the jacket’s design. When you use your phone camera on it, it directly connects you to Aflac for a cancer screening assessment,” Rachel detailed. “Plus, there’s a chance to win one of these limited-run jackets by completing the assessment.”
As highlighted by the 2026 Aflac Wellness Matters Survey, almost half of Americans (46 percent) are unaware of the age-recommended cancer screenings.
After celebrating her 55th birthday in September, the Baby2Baby board member aims to remind her followers about the importance of health and wellness.
“I’m extremely cautious about my health because my family and many friends have faced cancer, and I think many avoid these topics, believing ignorance is bliss,” Rachel expressed. “This initiative by Aflac is incredible because it’s all about awareness. The sooner you undergo screenings and have education on when to do so, the better prepared you are.”
As Rachel enters another year, she expresses joy in saying she is “living my best life right now.”
In fact, she confidently shares, “I’m probably the happiest I’ve been in a long time.”
“I think I now live my life with much more freedom in every aspect,” she noted. “Overall, I’m really happy, but I also believe that health is the priority, especially concerning my kids and family. It’s all about saying, ‘If you have your health in order, then you can enjoy everything else.’”
