Blake Horstmann and Wife Giannina Gibelli Announce Expecting Their Second Child
Newlyweds Blake Horstmann and Giannina Gibelli have something exciting to celebrate with another baby on the way.
“We were hoping for a honeymoon baby, so I took a pregnancy test a bit early and it came back negative,” Giannina, 33, shared with People on Thursday, September 24. “The next day, I felt this unusual pressure in my abdomen, and I thought, ‘Why not take another test?’ I was stunned to see two pink lines appear.”
Giannina and Blake, 37, already have a son, Heath, who is 2, and they are expecting their new addition in March 2027.
This pregnancy announcement comes just months after the couple wed in Croatia in June, accompanied by Bachelor and Bachelorette alumni such as Jason Tartick and Astrid Loch. Giannina also had the presence of her fellow Love Is Blind stars, including Jessica Vestal and Taylor Krause, for support on her special day.
“It was truly the best day of our lives. For about a week after we got home, I was just overwhelmed and jet-lagged,” Giannina told Us in July, revealing the post-wedding “anxiety” she and her husband experienced. “I found myself thinking, ‘Who am I now?’ Being a bride for a year and a half was wonderful, but now we are settling into our new, solid foundation, which feels nice.”

Giannina, who was featured on season 1 of Love Is Blind, admitted, “I baked like five loaves of bread. I couldn’t stop! Yes, it was stress baking!”
In their journey as newlyweds, Blake and Giannina confirmed their readiness to grow their family while also expanding their podcast.

“We’ve been putting in a lot of work on our podcast,” Giannina shared with Us about their “He Said, G Said” show. “We started it during the tail end of our wedding planning, but now we can fully dive into it and hopefully expand our family along the way.”
Giannina and Blake met in 2021, and Us exclusively confirmed their relationship in January 2022. They announced that they were expecting their first child in November 2023.
“First comes love, then comes baby H 🤍,” they wrote in a joint Instagram post. “We’re incredibly grateful that life has brought us here and are overjoyed to be welcoming our sweet baby in spring 2024!”
Their son, Heath Orion, was born in March 2024.
“Our baby is definitely his father’s twin!” Giannina excitedly told Us the following month. “They have so many similarities, and it’s adorable to see them light up around each other. Personality-wise, he’s an Aries like me, so we’ll see—he just might be the perfect combination of both parents.”

Giannina expressed her admiration for her husband and their partnership after welcoming their baby, stating, “We love doing everything together. The only time we really separate is when he goes to work, but we have our supportive village with us 24/7, making it a beautiful experience to focus on our baby and family time.”
In October, Blake proposed during their trip to Spain, and their son served as ring bearer during their wedding this summer.
As Giannina shared stunning photos from their wedding day, she playfully hinted that they were preparing to become a family of four. “Ensuring the ruins remain untouched so I can get started on baby No. 2,” she captioned an Instagram video from Europe in August.
Blake humorously commented, “Ruins first, baby second 😂.”
