Gisele Bundchen and Joaquim Valente Welcome Their First Child, According to Reports
Gisele Bündchen has allegedly welcomed her first child with her boyfriend, Joaquim Valente.
TMZ reported on Wednesday, February 4, that the 44-year-old supermodel has given birth to baby number three. The couple has yet to comment on the arrival of their little one. Us Weekly has reached out for additional comments.
Bündchen and her former husband, Tom Brady—to whom she was married from 2009 to 2022—previously welcomed their son Benjamin in December 2009 and daughter Vivian in December 2012. (Brady, 47, also shares a son named Jack with ex-partner Bridget Moynahan.)
After her highly publicized divorce from Brady, Bündchen began dating Valente in the summer of 2023, when he was her jiu-jitsu instructor. While the couple has maintained a low profile about their relationship, she expressed their unique bond in a March 2024 New York Times profile.
“This is the first time I am seeing someone who was a friend first,” she remarked at the time. “It’s a very different experience. It feels very genuine and very open.”
In October 2024, it was announced that Bündchen and Valente were expecting their first child together.
“Gisele and Joaquim have been cohabitating for over a year now, and they’re excited about expanding their family,” a source disclosed exclusively to Us Weekly. “Once the divorce was finalized, they quickly moved in together and have been inseparable ever since.”
The insider mentioned, “Gisele is absolutely thrilled to become a mother again.”
As they awaited their new arrival, an insider shared with Us in October 2024 that Bündchen is “head over heels” for Valente, indicating that her “friends haven’t seen her this way before.”
“Their chemistry has always been strong, and they share many interests,” the insider noted. “They’ve been in love for quite some time.”
Regarding Bündchen’s two older children, Benjamin and Vivian “really like” Valente, as noted by the insider, who mentioned that Valente had been “living at [Bündchen’s] house in Miami for some time.”
As for Brady, Bündchen informed him of her pregnancy several months before it became public, as shared by another source.
“When Gisele informed the children about her pregnancy, she also made it a point to notify Tom,” the source revealed to Us in October 2024. “She wanted to extend him that courtesy and understood the kids would eventually tell him.”
Brady was initially “shocked” by his ex-wife’s pregnancy but was “ultimately happy” for her, the source clarified.
“It took some time to process initially,” the source stated. “He recognizes that Gisele is an exceptional mother and was meant to have another child.”
