Jaxson Dart Joins Bachelor Nation: “I’m Done with Grant”
While preparing for the NFL Draft, Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart found time to share his thoughts on reality TV.
The 21-year-old revealed in an exclusive interview with Us Weekly that he is a fan of Bachelor Nation and had some strong opinions about the ongoing season of The Bachelor, featuring Grant Ellis in his quest for love.
“I’m not a fan of Grant,” Dart stated while highlighting his collaboration with Head & Shoulders. “I honestly thought Litia [Garr] would win. It just shows that everyone thinks differently.”
He further commented, “No disrespect, but I believe he missed a great chance.”
In the finale of season 29 of The Bachelor in March, Ellis, 31, broke up with Garr, 32, to pursue a relationship with Juliana Pasquarosa.
Aside from The Bachelor, Dart enjoys watching Love Island but doesn’t classify it as a “guilty pleasure.”
“It’s simply a show I like to watch,” he remarked.
Despite his Utah roots, Dart mentioned to Us that he hasn’t explored either The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City or The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.
Dart concluded, “I don’t watch any of that other stuff.”
On the football side, Dart reflects on his NFL Draft preparation as a moment to assess his journey and growth. He started at the University of Southern California before transferring to Ole Miss in 2022.
“Each year has been a period of maturity for me,” Dart explained. “Coming in as a 17-year-old freshman, I didn’t fully grasp what it means to be a quarterback at an elite level. Every year is a lesson in growth and professionalism.”
He added, “I feel prepared. I’m ready for whatever challenges lie ahead and to achieve success at the highest level. I truly believe I’m ready.”
Leading up to the Draft, Dart partnered with Head & Shoulders, a relationship he says has been a long time in the making.
“I first grew my hair out in high school,” Dart shared. “Some friends and I discussed our admiration for the [former Pittsburgh Steelers star] Troy Polamalu Head & Shoulders commercials and the fantastic partnership it would be.”
He concluded, “I’m incredibly grateful for this opportunity and the relationships I’m building. I believe it will have a lasting impact.”
