Kaia Gerber Emulates Cindy Crawford’s Fashion at the Overcompensating Premiere

Kaia Gerber inherits her style from her mother.

At 23, Kaia, the daughter of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, paid homage to her mom’s iconic lingerie look while stepping onto the red carpet for the Overcompensating premiere in Los Angeles on May 14. She sported a stylish gray oversized blazer with wide sleeves and long lapels, complementing it with a black button-up cardigan and hot pants.

Adding a hint of allure, Kaia wore sheer black thigh-high stockings and completed her outfit with black patent-leather pointed-toe heels.

For her glam, Kaia opted for a flawless finish with dewy foundation, flirty long eyelashes, and pink lipstick. Her brunette hair was parted down the middle and styled into neat curls.

Kaia’s striking appearance immediately evoked memories for Us of Cindy’s stunning Dolce & Gabbana runway look back in 1992. She wowed on the catwalk in a little black dress adorned with delicate halter straps, long sleeves, attached gloves, a cutout across her chest, and a fitted skirt. Now 59, Cindy completed her look with thigh-high tights, tucking a rose into them, and peep-toe pumps.

Like her daughter, Cindy also wore her hair in voluminous, bombshell curls, enhancing her outfit with bold red lips that perfectly matched the rose in her stockings.

During the same runway show, Cindy dramatically revealed her lingerie, showcasing a daring black lace bodysuit attached to her tights, accessorized with a rose tucked into her bust and behind her ear.

This isn’t the first instance of Kaia drawing fashion inspiration from her mother. In September 2024, she dazzled in a replica of Cindy’s iconic Hervé Léger Oscars dress from 1993, which featured a sweetheart neckline, thick straps, a structured bustier, and a bodycon skirt.

Kaia styled the outfit similarly to her mother, accessorizing with a diamond necklace and dangling earrings.
