Taylor Swift’s Company Acquires $13K Friendship Bracelet from Eras Tour

Taylor Swift’s company has reportedly acquired an extraordinary friendship bracelet.

Swift’s personal services company, Firefly Entertainments Inc., invested $13,000 in a remarkable 140-foot-long inflatable friendship bracelet, which adorned the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans during her Eras Tour, as local news outlet 4WWL reported on Thursday, June 26.

Shawn and Jules Kolodny from Kolossal Arts crafted the piece, stating to Us Weekly on Thursday, “It’s so fitting that the final exchange of the giant friendship bracelet was with Taylor — she’s the reason it exists. We’re thrilled that it’s with her now.”

According to 4WWL, this information was shared by the Louisiana Stadium and Exposition District, the governing body managing the dome, which is anticipated to approve the acquisition in a board meeting on Thursday.

Us Weekly has reached out to Swift for her perspective.

Firefly, which manages events and provides personal services to Swift, 35, is tasked with the logistics of retrieving and delivering the bracelet, based on the purchase agreement.

The enormous bracelet read, “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour,” in white beads and included a few colorful “gems” between the words. It spanned 140 feet across the Superdome during the three-night concert series in October 2024, featuring special guest Sabrina Carpenter.

Friendship bracelets have gained popularity among Swifties, inspired by a line from the pop star’s 2022 song “You’re on Your Own, Kid”: “So make the friendship bracelets, take the moment and taste it.” The act of exchanging bracelets became a cherished activity at the Eras tour and other Swiftie gatherings.

Even celebrities attending the Eras Tour participated in the bracelet exchanges, including Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and his brother, Jason Kelce.

Abby Jones, a marketing professional with ASM New Orleans, conceptualized the idea for the enormous friendship bracelet after being inspired, as reported by 4WWL. Upon receiving approval from Swift’s team, Jones engaged the Miami-based artists Shawn and Jules, known for their expertise in large inflatables, to bring the massive piece to life.

Swift herself expressed her admiration for the gigantic bracelet during one of her concerts in New Orleans.

“You’ve created traditions. You’ve generated this mass movement of joy every time we perform,” she remarked, as seen in a fan-shared video clip via X. “I just showed up one day and saw you all exchanging friendship bracelets and thought, ‘That’s cool,’ and now there’s a giant friendship bracelet outside of this stadium.”

The “Cruel Summer” artist added, “Which is so thoughtful of them to do for us — but it’s even more beautiful that you all created something that surpassed what I ever imagined for this tour.”

After the New Orleans performances concluded, the giant friendship bracelet visited other cities on the tour. Some locations added their unique twist to the trend. In Indianapolis, where Swift performed later in October 2024, the Indianapolis Children’s Museum adorned life-sized dinosaurs outside the building with friendship bracelets.

The Eras Tour wrapped up after 149 shows in December 2024.

“[Thank you for] being a part of the most thrilling chapter of my life to date — my cherished Eras Tour,” Swift shared at her final show in Vancouver, Canada.

Later, she took to Instagram to post numerous photos from the remarkable adventure and stated, “It was rare. I was there. I remember it. ♥️”
