Did Princess Charlotte Mirror Mom Kate Middleton’s Accessory Style?
Princess Charlotte appears to be drawing style inspiration from her mother, Princess Kate Middleton.
After Prince William and Kate, 43, shared Father’s Day photos featuring the royal family and their three children via Instagram, fans noticed that Princess Charlotte, 10, seemed to be sporting an accessory reminiscent of her mom’s collection.
In a monochrome photo, Charlotte was snuggled up with her dad and brothers, dressed in a forest green sweater and blue jeans. She accessorized with a plaid scarf around her neck, resembling one that Kate wore on Christmas in December 2024.
Both George and Louis coordinated their outfits with Charlotte for the photoshoot. George sported a plaid shirt under a brown vest, paired with blue jeans and a beaded bracelet.
Louis, on the other hand, went for an olive green sweater layered over a checkered dress shirt, completing his outfit with dark blue jeans—similar to his father, William, 42.
The future King of England looked sharp in a ribbed green sweater and a light blue collared shirt. He wrapped his arms around his children and beamed for the camera.
When Kate donned the scarf in December 2024, she paired it with an emerald Alexander McQueen coat featuring a floor-length skirt and black burros. She accentuated her elegant look with black suede pointed-toe boots, dark gloves, and a leather purse, finishing off the outfit with a green cap adorned with a bow.
Like Charlotte, Kate also has a history of borrowing accessories. On Monday, June 16, she was seen wearing the late Princess Diana’s engagement ring during the Order of the Garter service at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor, England. The ring features a sapphire stone surrounded by diamonds, which Kate showcased beautifully against her all-white Self-Portrait dress and wide-brim hat.
