Ginny and Georgia Cast: Check Out the Netflix Stars Then and Now
Ginny & Georgia enthusiasts have witnessed cast changes both on and off screen since the show’s debut on Netflix in 2021.
Ginny & Georgia features a talented lineup, including Brianne Howey, Antonia Gentry, Diesel La Torraca, Felix Mallard, Sara Waisglass, Raymond Ablack, and Scott Porter. The series follows a young single mother who relocates her family to Wellsbury, Massachusetts, escaping her past.
Although it quickly gained traction on Netflix, Ginny & Georgia encountered production challenges following the dual WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes. Filming for Season 2 concluded in early 2022, but work on the third season didn’t commence until two years later. Season 3 is slated for release in 2025, with production now underway for the next batch of episodes.
“Between the conclusion of Season 2 and the start of Season 3, nothing dramatically shifted. I’d say the season really came together once we had the writers’ room established. I was aware of the key plot points,” creator Sara Lampert shared exclusively with Us Weekly in June 2025. “When we crafted Season 2, we had certain elements planned since Season 1, and now we’ve introduced additional plans from Season 2.”
She elaborated: “However, it’s in the writers’ room that you truly expand the narrative. There wasn’t a significant shift during the wait between Seasons 2 and 3, but once the writers’ room was buzzing for Season 3 — with the knowledge that we had a Season 4 — it influenced our approach for this season.”
