Anna Camp Pursues a Cameo in The Hunting Wives Alongside Brittany Snow

Anna Camp will always hold the title of Bella close to her heart, but would she consider making a cameo alongside Pitch Perfect’s Brittany Snow in The Hunting Wives?

“Count me in! I would absolutely love to be part of that show,” Camp, 43, shared exclusively with Us Weekly on Sunday, May 31, during the MPTF NextGen Summer Party, sponsored by Delta Air Lines and Waymo. “They have such incredible storylines, and get to explore some really exciting, juicy moments.”

Snow, 40, cranked up the intensity when she took on the role of Sophie O’Neil in Netflix’s The Hunting Wives in July 2025.

In the show, which was swiftly renewed for a second season, Sophie becomes enmeshed in the glamorous lifestyle of an elite East Texas socialite group, led by Margo Banks (Malin Akerman), who takes a special interest in her.

Season 1 packed in drama, affairs, and murder, all of which pushed Snow out of her comfort zone — and Camp noticed.

“I’m so proud of her for fully committing and putting herself out there, because on that show, you really can’t hold back,” Camp expressed to Us regarding her long-time friend. “One piece of advice I often share with younger actors is to ‘Screw fear; you need to be fearless.’”

The actress added, “I feel like Brittany embodies that fearlessness on the show, just like Malin does. I couldn’t be prouder of her; it’s truly incredible.”

Once The Hunting Wives debuted, Camp wasted no time in sending Snow a congratulatory message.

“When it started gaining traction, I texted her, ‘Girl, you are everywhere, and I’m so proud of you,’” Camp reminisced.

The You alum shared that Snow returned the sentiment, expressing how “proud” she was of Camp and how excited she was to see her portray Jessica Bowden in Scream 7.

“We’re always in different places, but from afar, we consistently support each other and… I’m truly thrilled for her,” Camp gushed.

Camp and Snow’s friendship began in 2012 when they starred as college best friends and a cappella singers, Aubrey and Chloe, in Pitch Perfect.

The actresses reprised their roles in two subsequent films in the musical franchise, and their real-life friendship reflects the bond that fans witness on screen. (Snow served as a bridesmaid in Camp’s 2016 wedding to Skylar Astin, from whom she separated in 2019. Camp also attended Snow’s wedding to Tyler Stanaland in 2020, though both have since divorced.)

“We essentially grew up together, right? I was quite young when I did that first movie. I celebrated my 29th birthday while filming the first installment, and I turned 30 when it premiered,” Camp shared with Us on Sunday. “We have been present for each other’s relationships, divorces, highs and lows, and we’ve watched each other evolve in so many beautiful ways.”

Camp stated that her “connection” with the Pitch Perfect cast “will last forever.”

She credited creator Elizabeth Banks for fostering a familial bond among the women, asserting, “I would do anything for any one of those girls anytime.”
