Denise Richards’ upcoming reality series is set to feature many unexpected moments, including a visit from her former husband, Charlie Sheen.
“No one has ever seen Charlie and me sitting in a room talking post-divorce,” said Richards, 54, during the Tuesday, February 18 episode of Bravo’s “Hot Mic” podcast. “One of my favorite aspects of the show is capturing that moment of us sharing together.”
Richards and Sheen were married for three years before their divorce in 2005. They share two daughters, Sami, 20, and Lola, 19.
The new reality show, titled Denise Richards and Her Wild Things, will provide a glimpse into her life with her husband, Aaron Phypers, and her children. (The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star also adopted her daughter Eloise, 13, shortly after her birth in May 2011.)
In her recent interview, Richards reassured fans that her reunion with Sheen isn’t filled with drama. They have focused on maintaining a positive coparenting relationship.
“We can still joke around and find humor in the challenges we faced,” she quipped to host Alex Baskin. “It’s so outrageous that laughter is the only option.”
Baskin noted that the scene they filmed is “riveting” to watch.

While Richards acknowledged that some might doubt the nature of her relationship with Sheen, she reminded people that the media often depicts only one side of the story.
“People have seen our struggles in the tabloids over the years. They might hear about us vacationing with our daughters or dining together,” Richards explained. “It has always been about maintaining a family dynamic for the girls’ sake.”
Previously, Richards talked about her choice to return to reality TV nearly 15 years after she starred in an E! series titled Denise Richards: It’s Complicated.
“We had discussions with my older daughters because it was crucial for me to ensure they wanted to participate. They weren’t obligated,” she exclusively shared with Us Weekly in December 2024. “It was a process, but they were supportive.”
“I’m not perfect, and they’ll witness my mistakes,” Richards noted. “Our family isn’t flawless, but I hope they can relate to some of the challenges we face.”
Denise Richards and Her Wild Things is set to premiere on Bravo Tuesday, March 4, following a new episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
