Hayley from Ultimatum Speaks Out on Blake’s Domestic Violence Arrest
The Ultimatum’s Hayley Hendrich has spoken out following the arrest of her ex-fiancé, Blake Robertson, for alleged assault.
“It’s been challenging. Reliving everything has been tough,” Hayley shared exclusively with Us on Tuesday, July 21. “The decisions I made during that situation have weighed heavily on me.”
The fourth season of The Ultimatum, which debuted earlier this month, showcased the tumultuous romance between Hayley and Blake. Although they ended the season engaged, it was revealed off-screen that Blake was arrested in October 2025.
Multiple outlets reported that Blake was taken into custody in Nacogdoches, Texas, after he allegedly physically assaulted Hayley, according to court records.
“The prosecutor promptly dismissed Blake’s case, and all records were cleared,” Blake’s lawyer told E! News.
Blake also shared his perspective. “All my attorney said is accurate. The case was dismissed within a month, and Hayley signed the affidavit,” he confirmed. “We still communicate regularly and have a reunion coming up, so stay tuned.”
In her conversation with Us, Hayley expressed her difficulty rewatching moments from her relationship with Blake.
“After working through my healing, having to relive it all again is hard,” she reflected. “Being in the public eye amplifies that struggle. It has been overwhelming.”
Hayley and Blake joined the Netflix hit series after he was eager to propose — a step she wasn’t ready for. After being matched with other individuals, they reevaluated their relationship and appeared to be considering marriage.
“After our engagement, we cohabited, but I was emotionally turbulent when I returned home. Many triggers emerged, preventing us from truly enjoying our engagement,” Hayley reminisced. “Emotionally, I felt that I had asked for this for so long that it seemed insincere when it came to fruition. I thought, ‘Now you’re doing it, but I’ve been asking you for a year to meet my emotional needs.’”
She expressed feeling “really bad,” stating, “He did try. It took a year, but he put in effort. I regret not fully appreciating that. Resentment overshadowed our relationship, which took a toll.”
She elaborated, “At that point, it felt like I was giving without receiving. My emotional cup was empty, and I lost myself completely in that relationship. I acknowledge my part in it. All I can do now is learn from it and grow for myself and the next person.”
Several high-profile breakups shook the celebrity landscape in 2026, starting with Bill Hader and Ali Wong in January. In March, NFL quarterback Dak Prescott and his fiancée Sarah Jane Ramos parted ways. The Real Housewives of New York City stars Sai De Silva and her husband David Craig also made headlines for their split in April.
Ultimately, Hayley and Blake couldn’t sustain a lasting relationship.
“We ended things in September 2025, but we continued to live together until the end of October while I got back on my feet,” she explained. “I feel like I didn’t get closure at the reunion. Blake and I have had communication since then, which has been inconsistent. Sometimes, no closure is closure, and I’ve learned to accept that.”
Reflecting on her journey in The Ultimatum, Hayley questioned her choice to participate in the dating experiment. “I didn’t feel excited; it felt off. I shouldn’t have said yes,” she confessed. “I consistently idolized Blake throughout our relationship and often put him before myself. That influenced my romantic ideals. I do have regrets, but I also learned valuable lessons.”
She summarized, “I feel prepared to move forward. While there’s still healing to be done, it would be selfish to enter a new relationship right now after everything. For my mental well-being, it’s important not to carry my past issues into a new relationship. I’m not ready just yet, but I believe that time will come soon.”
