What transpired in last week’s episode of ‘The Voice’?

The March 17 episode of “The Voice” showcased the second night of the battles round.

Legend pitted Bryson Battle and Ari Camille against each other, performing Muni Long’s “Made for Me.” In the end, Battle emerged victorious, but Camille remains in the competition after Levine used a steal to bring her onto his team.

Levine also tasked two other contestants, BD.ii and Antonio Ramsey, with performing Musiq Soulchild’s “Just Friends (Sunny).” BD.ii clinched the win and continued on with Legend’s team.

On Bublé’s team, Barry Jean Fontenot and Kaiya Hamilton went head-to-head singing Solomon Burke’s “Cry to Me.” In the end, Hamilton triumphed, while Ballerini attempted to steal Fontenot, and Bublé used his save to retain him. Ultimately, Fontenot chose to stay with Bublé.

From Ballerini’s roster, Jaelen Johnston and Hailey Wright performed “Neon Moon” by Brooks & Dunn, with Ballerini advancing Johnston to the next round. Alanna Lynise and Brook Wood, also from Ballerini’s team, sang Miley Cyrus’ “Angels Like You,” and Ballerini selected Lynise as the winner.

As for Levine’s team, Hayden Grove and Lucia Flores-Wiseman faced off singing Frank Sinatra’s “Funny Valentine.” Ultimately, Levine chose Flores-Wiseman to progress.
