A Timeline of the Feud Between Brian Austin Green and Machine Gun Kelly
The rivalry between Megan Fox’s ex-husband, Brian Austin Green, and her on-and-off fiancé Machine Gun Kelly has been intensifying since late 2024, following MGK, whose real name is Colson Baker, and a pregnant Fox’s most recent breakup (which appears to be permanent this time).
“Their relationship is filled with passion, which brings them back together repeatedly, but also leads to their intensely toxic fights,” an insider revealed exclusively to Us Weekly in December 2024. “Although their arguments have become less severe since MGK got sober, they really struggle to maintain stability in their relationship.”
“They attempted to reconcile after the pregnancy news, but their fiery natures caused them to revert to their habitual bickering,” the insider added. “They can’t find common ground, making it difficult for them to stay together.”
Shortly afterward, Green advised MGK to “mature” before Fox gives birth to their first child together.
The situation escalated again in March 2025 when Green shared private messages from MGK that mocked him as “mr child actor” and told him to “return to cereal commercials.”

2020
Green and Fox were married in 2010 but separated in 2021. They co-parent children Noah, Bodhi, and Journey. MGK also has a 15-year-old daughter named Casie from a prior relationship.
Despite the close timing of their separation and the start of Fox’s relationship with MGK, Green has emphasized that there was no infidelity involved.
“We have always been honest with each other; neither of us has wronged the other,” he stated in a 2020 episode of his “…With Brian Austin Green” podcast. “We share a wonderful relationship, and I will always have love for her, just as I know she has for me. What we’ve built as a family is truly special.”
He acknowledged that Fox and MGK met while filming the 2021 movie Midnight in the Switchgrass but clarified they weren’t parting ways due to any kind of betrayal.
December 2024
Upon discovering that MGK and Fox had separated, Green expressed his frustration toward MGK.
“He’s in his 30s, right?” Green asked a TMZ reporter about MGK. “At that age, I don’t know, grow up. You know she’s pregnant.”
“All I want is the best for her and for the baby, as well as for our kids,” Green added.
February 2025
Green took to Instagram to post a screenshot of a message from MGK critiquing an article about his relationship with Fox.
“Dude, just be truthful for once,” Green wrote in the post. “Stop worrying about your image to the point where you drag others into it.”
A few days later, Green shared his feelings in an interview with People, stating that he decided to “remain silent and step back” moving forward.
“This is not typically my approach,” he shared in the February 6 interview. “But, at that moment, it really bothered me to read his perspective. So, I spoke out, but I eventually realized that I won’t do that again.”
March 2025
Green’s resolve to “sit back” lasted only until the next month, when he shared another Instagram Story featuring direct messages allegedly from MGK that seemed to target Green. (Us Weekly has reached out to MGK’s team for comments.)
“Stop asking when our child is going to be born. You the FEDS,” one message stated. “Quit calling TMZ and focus on that apology you owe me for speaking on my name publicly.”
The message continued, “You picked the wrong one to mess with, mr child actor. Go back to cereal commercials.”
Green appeared unfazed by the remarks, posting over the screenshot, “I didn’t realize ‘child actor’ was insultive. Leo [DiCaprio], watch out. He could be after you next.”
