Kate Hudson Shrugs Off Wardrobe Malfunction at Running Point Screening
Kate Hudson’s Running Point co-stars are rallying around her.
During a recent discussion about her upcoming Netflix film, which features Brenda Song and Justin Theroux, Hudson, 45, experienced a wardrobe malfunction at a PaleyLive screening in New York City. In a social media clip shared on YouTube, Hudson was responding to a question when her plunging Proenza Schouler black dress unexpectedly came undone.
She gasped and instinctively grabbed her chest, trying to shield herself from the audience. “It’s alright,” host Samantha Barry comforted her, while Theroux, 53, quickly rushed over to adjust the back of her cutout gown.
Soon after, Song, 36, leapt to her feet to block the view of Hudson, standing in front of her with her arms outstretched to provide extra coverage.
“You didn’t see this coming,” Hudson joked as Barry and Theroux worked on her outfit. “I planned this all along.”
“I’ve got it,” Theroux replied, while Hudson chuckled. “Just keep talking!”
Once her dress was securely adjusted, Hudson and her co-stars carried on with the conversation, pondering how many times her gown might malfunction again.
As the panel discussion progressed, Hudson’s dress malfunctioned once more. She playfully clapped at the audience while gasping and covering her chest again. Trying not to draw too much focus to the incident, she discreetly motioned for Theroux to assist her again. He promptly stepped in behind her to readjust her dress.
To complete her glamorous attire, Hudson adorned herself with Loree Rodkin 18K Diamond Star Drop Earrings and a stylish silver ring.
She embraced a soft glamorous look, featuring shimmering eyeshadow, pink lipstick, and mascara. The actress finished off her appearance with her platinum blonde hair elegantly styled to the side and expertly blown out.
