Jonathan Majors Confirms His Marriage to Meagan Good

Jonathan Majors and Meagan Good have gotten married.

Majors announced their marriage on “Sherri,” revealing that they tied the knot on Tuesday, March 18, which he described as one of the most joyful days of his life.

“I told Meagan yesterday, ‘Today might be the happiest day of my life,’” said Majors, 35, during his appearance on March 19. “I love her dearly.”

The star of “Magazine Dreams” expressed more about their wedding while holding back tears of joy.

“I asked her father for permission in Paris, and he said, ‘That’s cool,’” he stated. “It was a more extended conversation… so it was always something we intended to do.”

He revealed that his mother, a pastor, came from Dallas to Los Angeles for a screening of his latest film.

“My mother had never attended any of my screenings. We had told her, ‘Hey, we’re going to do this thing.’ And we did,” he shared. “My mother officiated our wedding yesterday. Her mother was also present.”

“We had these rings and got them engraved in Hawaii after I spoke to her father once more,” he added. “We finally managed to do it, but it was always part of the plan.”

The couple first announced their engagement on November 17, 2024, while attending the Ebony Power 100 Gala, where Good proudly displayed her engagement ring and mentioned to “E! News” that they had “two proposals.”

“We had two proposals,” she disclosed, adding that they intended to keep the specifics private. “We’re going to keep it between us, but it was a huge surprise, and it was amazing. I was like, ‘Wait, are you serious, babe?’”

The star of “Divorce in the Black” later mentioned that they had a second proposal “some months later.”

At that time, they revealed that they had first met at the same event “two years ago.”

“The Ebony Power 100 is where we met, in the bathroom, in the unisex restroom,” Good shared.

The duo first ignited romance rumors in May 2023, several months after Majors faced domestic violence allegations from his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari.

A spokesperson for Majors denied the accusations at that time, stating to TODAY.com, “He has done nothing wrong. We look forward to clearing his name.”

Good remained supportive of Majors during the trial, even after he was convicted of misdemeanor assault and harassment on December 18, 2023. In April the next year, the “Creed III” actor was sentenced to one year of counseling, probation, and a $250 fine, according to NBC News.

After the sentencing, Good spoke openly about her relationship with Majors.

“I consider everyone’s perspective and advice, but ultimately, I live my life. I’m the one accountable for my actions and choices. I intend to live my life according to my values,” she reflected during a July 2024 appearance on TODAY with Hoda & Jenna.
