Meagan Good Rehoused Her Cat Following Her Marriage to Jonathan Majors
Meagan Good shares the reason behind rehoming her cat after marrying Jonathan Majors.
In a recent appearance on the “Picture This” podcast on Wednesday, April 8, Good, 44, was asked if there was anything she thought she could do without, but truly couldn’t.
“Uh, my cat, ’cause I had to get rid of my little cat. His name is Bam Bam,” Good answered.
The actress explained that upon moving in together, her husband brought his two dogs, and when a third dog joined the family, Bam Bam did not adjust well.
“The pups came with Jonathan. So, there were two pups, and then we got a third. By the time the third came, Bam Bam was very upset and began using the bathroom in the bed,” Good elaborated.
She added, “Initially, I was unsure. I thought about how much I’d miss him and how much I wanted him around. He’s my little kitty, you know, but the new puppy really pushed him over the edge.”
When the interviewer asked if Good “chose the puppy over Bam Bam,” she replied, “I chose the man.”
Good and Majors, 36, have been together since 2023 and announced their engagement in November 2024 before marrying the following year.
“I’m just really happy,” Good exclusively told Us Weekly in June 2025. “He’s very silly and often falls asleep during movies. I love going on adventures with him. Whenever I suggest something fun, he enthusiastically joins me. We’re like two kids thrilled to do whatever we want.”
In the same interview, Good expressed her desire to start a family with Majors, who has a 13-year-old daughter from a previous relationship.
“I’m definitely ready to have kids now,” Good stated. “My partner is someone I want to share that journey with, and he’s an incredible father already. Together, we can embark on this exciting chapter.”
Discussing their pet dogs, Good mentioned her ideal number of children.
“Two would be ideal,” she mentioned to Us. “With four dogs already, we have four Belgian Malinois, and they’re the most energetic dogs you can imagine, but our home is very safe.”
Majors also praised Good during a March 2025 television interview with Sherri Shepherd, confirming their marriage.
“I told Meagan yesterday, ‘Today might be the happiest day of my life.’ I love that woman so much,” he expressed.
