Off Campus’ Antonio Cipriano’s Girlfriend Responds to Weight Comments

Antonio Cipriano‘s partner, Justine Verheul, addressed remarks regarding the Off Campus star’s weight.

On Tuesday, May 19, Verheul, 27, took to Instagram to share highlights from a trip to Disney World. In the comments, a fan of Off Campus mentioned Cipriano, 26, stating, “I’m saying this with love but please tell Antonio to bulk up and eat everything he can before filming begins for season two.”

The comment continued, “There’s a viral tweet about his gaunt appearance and how much weight he’s lost, and I worry he’ll receive a lot of negativity in season 2 if he doesn’t gain weight. Logan is supposed to be BIG.”

Verheul swiftly responded, shutting down the unsolicited commentary about Cipriano’s appearance.

The Off Campus cast, similar to their fictional characters, have found success in their personal dating lives. Based on the Off Campus book series by Elle Kennedy, the show, which premiered in May 2026, follows an elite ice hockey team—and the women in their lives—as they navigate love, heartbreak, and more.

“Maybe we should refrain from commenting on others’ weight,” she replied. “All love though.”

Verheul later shared in her Instagram Story that she was taking a “much needed social media break.” She has been dating Cipriano since 2023 and has been supportive of her boyfriend following his standout performance as Logan in season 1 of Off Campus.

Based on the book by Elle Kennedy, the show, which recently started streaming, focuses on an elite ice hockey team and the women involved in their lives. The love story between Hannah (Ella Bright) and Garrett (Belmont Cameli) was central in season 1, featuring several pivotal moments from their book, The Deal, with updated scenes.

Meanwhile, the show has started to set up Allie (Mika Abdalla) and Dean (Stephen Kalyn) as potential future leads, despite their appearance in the third book of the series. Logan is anticipated to play a significant role in the coming seasons alongside his love interest, Grace (India Fowler).

Prime Video’s Off Campus weaves various love stories at Briar U—curious about which couples end up together in the books? Based on Elle Kennedy’s series, the show navigates themes of love, heartbreak, and self-discovery.

“What’s fantastic about the show and this adaptation is that the writers have had the freedom to develop these characters more. The original books are heavily focused on the POV of whoever is in love, but there was so much more to explore,” Cipriano shared with Us Weekly earlier this month. “You find yourself rooting for all these characters.”

Cipriano expressed his enthusiasm for the chance to expand on his character.

“You get to know Logan as a brother, teammate, and best friend before he finds love,” he explained. “You get to follow his journey of self-discovery. I’m grateful for that opportunity. Now that we’ve met Grace, I’m excited for his storyline to develop with her in the show.”

Off Campus is currently available for streaming on Prime Video.
