Seann William Scott’s Ex Claims He Wants to Evict Her and Their Daughter
Sean William Scott’s ex-wife, Olivia Korenberg, is alleging that the American Pie star is attempting to evict her and their four-year-old daughter from his $3 million residence.
As per legal documents submitted on Friday, April 11, Korenberg, 35, has filed a motion in court seeking to modify the existing child custody and support agreement, which currently grants them joint legal and physical custody of their daughter.
Korenberg’s motion requests that the court prevent Scott from evicting her and their child from the Malibu mansion they inhabit, which is owned by the actor.
Scott’s alleged move to evict his ex and daughter follows Korenberg’s recent inquiry about whether her new boyfriend, whom she has been dating for five months, could meet their daughter, according to the court documents.
The documents indicate that Korenberg also wants the court to permit her and their daughter to relocate more than 20 miles from Scott, as she asserts that she can no longer afford to reside in the upscale California suburb following her separation from him. The filing states that Scott insists Korenberg and their child remain within 20 miles of his Malibu property.
Scott and Korenberg were married in September 2019 and initially filed for divorce on October 2, 2023, stating that as their date of separation. Their divorce was officially finalized in May 2024.
In the legal filing, Korenberg mentioned that she informed Scott in November 2024 of her intention to introduce her new partner, whom she had been dating for five months, to their daughter. Korenberg also reportedly offered Scott the chance to meet her partner first, an opportunity he declined.
A few weeks later, Scott allegedly notified Korenberg that he was selling the $3 million home where she and their daughter live and established a move-out date of May 3, 2025.
In her filing, Korenberg expressed feeling “blindsided” by the eviction notice, noting that she and her daughter would have no place to stay after June 30.
“[Our daughter] and I will have nowhere to live. I cannot afford housing in Malibu. Furthermore, it is not safe to continue residing in Malibu, as we have had to evacuate multiple times due to wildfires,” Korenberg stated in the filing.
Korenberg also asserted in her filing that Scott possesses “substantial financial resources and assets, including his debt-free Malibu home valued at over $10 million, and a vacant debt-free house in Venice worth over $4 million,” resulting from his successful acting career spanning more than two decades.
