Siesta Key Star Juliette Porter Reveals She Considered Joining Summer House
Juliette Porter is all set to bid farewell to Siesta Key and embrace a summer residence in the Hamptons.
“I attempted to join Summer House for a brief period,” Porter, 27, shared during the March 5 episode of her “Don’t Be Ridiculous” podcast while talking about the Bravo series. “Maybe I’ll give it another shot.”
The former MTV reality star mentioned that she has met fellow cast member Ciara Miller “a few times” and is a fan of Paige DeSorbo.
“Speaking of Paige, you know Paige and Hannah [Berner]?” she inquired of her cohost Sebastian Genta. “I’m incredibly proud of them. They were at the Vanity Fair Oscars red carpet. … They’re such wonderful girls. They’re hilarious, and I’m just so proud of their achievements. They truly deserve it. They’re absolutely killing it right now.”
Between 2017 and early 2023, Porter was featured on Siesta Key alongside Kelsey Owens, Madisson Hausburg, and other cast members.

The MTV reality series chronicled a group of friends in the Florida area as they managed friendships, romances, and unexpected twists.
“I believe the reason the show concluded is that a lot of things had changed,” Porter stated. “These are friends from my high school days through my early 20s. I no longer communicate with them. It’s a different phase of life. Things were fading. I was ready for growth. I was planning to remain in Miami. They didn’t really fit in Miami.”
While the fifth and final season was filmed in Miami, Porter mentioned the potential for a new spinoff centered on her life abroad.
Porter shared that a film crew from London spent three days filming her in Paris, and the initial feedback from producers was optimistic.
“It was honestly enchanting. It felt like a spinoff moment,” she recalled. “They attempted to pitch it to MTV. They had my friend Serena Kerrigan, and Amanda [Marie Miller] was set to join. … At the last minute, they pivoted and decided on Miami because it was too costly.”
While Porter humorously mentioned that she wishes her show were featured on Bravo, the JMP The Label swimwear designer indicated that networks often play it too safe with their programming.
“I feel like many networks tend to replicate what they know has succeeded, which is understandable from a financial perspective,” she explained. “But it becomes repetitive.”
New episodes of the “Don’t Be Ridiculous” podcast are released every Thursday.
