Teen Mom’s Ryan Edwards and Amanda Conner Celebrate the Arrival of Their First Baby
Teen Mom: The Next Chapter star Ryan Edwards and his fiancée, Amanda Conner, have much to celebrate with the arrival of their first child together.
“Today marks the day we welcomed our precious gift from God, Presley Sage Elianna Edwards,” the couple shared in a statement to People on Wednesday, February 12. “We feel incredibly blessed to introduce this beautiful, healthy baby girl into our family.”
As reported by the publication, baby Presley arrived at 6:15 a.m., weighing 7 lbs., 3 oz. and measuring 20 inches.
“We have put in a lot of effort to achieve our dreams and create a new life with all of our children,” Ryan and Amanda expressed. “We look forward to being a happy and healthy family, and we are deeply grateful for everyone’s love and support.”
Ryan is already a father to son Bentley, born in October 2008 with ex Maci Bookout, and to son Jagger and daughter Stella, whom he shares with estranged wife Mackenzie Edwards, born in October 2018 and January 2020, respectively. Amanda, on her side, also has a son from a prior relationship.
Amanda revealed her pregnancy through TikTok in October 2024. Responding to a query from a follower about morning sickness, she said, “Omg girl, I was so sick I thought I was gonna 💀.. don’t know how I lived through both!! 💖.”
She added, “Same!! This has been a tough pregnancy.”
Ryan responded, “I’m very excited. I actually wanted a girl.”
The two expressed their aspirations for their daughter, aiming to cultivate respect, good manners, and an appreciation for honesty.
“Honesty is one of my core values; being truthful about who you are, and who Ryan and I are, is essential,” Amanda shared with Us. “I don’t wish to conceal anything from her. I’ll be mindful in my approach; I don’t intend to be a helicopter parent, but I want to shield our child from the experiences we’ve faced. I just want her to embrace the world while being strong-minded about certain matters.”
The couple also mentioned they were open to discussing their pregnancy journey on Teen Mom: The Next Chapter, although the MTV show had not been renewed at that time.
“If they continue filming, yes, we are willing to participate,” Amanda said. “I truly hope they proceed. As of now, we don’t have any clarity, but if they approach us, we’d be more than happy to share our journey. Fingers crossed.”
Despite facing legal challenges in the past, Ryan and Amanda told Us they are concentrating on their sobriety and a new direction as they prepare for the arrival of their first child together.
“People can change and improve,” Amanda remarked. “Individuals can mend themselves and grow. I just wish others could recognize that.”
Ryan added, “I believe we have both come a long way.”
