TLC’s Little Singles Stars Talk About Intimacy and Size Perspectives
TLC’s latest reality show is showcasing how little people possess immense hearts.
In an exclusive first look from Us Weekly, we get a glimpse of the upcoming series Little Singles, premiering on Monday, June 15. It features a close-knit circle of friends from the little people community who gather in Palm Springs, California, for a memorable getaway.
During this unforgettable trip, the group embarks on a journey of dating, bonding, and discussing intimate topics with utmost openness.
“I’ve never dated a little person before,” Krista admits in the preview. “There’s a first time for everything. It’s not that I wouldn’t; I just wasn’t surrounded by little people growing up. People often ask me if I’d date a tall guy, and I respond, ‘I’ve only ever dated tall guys.’”
The conversation captures the interest of Sammy, who reveals he has a little crush on the blonde.
“We met Krista last year at the LPA, the annual convention for little people,” he recalls in a confessional. “The moment I saw her, I was like, [whistles]. When she looks at me, I’m left speechless. That sparkle in her eye is incredible, and I’m thinking, ‘Hello gorgeous!’”
When John suggests it might be time for Krista to date a “small man,” Sammy steps up his game.
“I’ve been told I’m quite the kisser,” he boasts playfully. “What about you?”
Krista responds, “I’ve never received any complaints.”
While viewers will have to tune in to see if there’s potential for romance, Krista clearly finds Sammy appealing.
“When I first met Sammy, I thought he was really charming,” she explains in a confessional. “I find Sammy sweet, and I’d go out with him if he asked, but he has to be a gentleman and make the first move.”
Later in the episode, the dialogue intensifies as the cast discusses sexual experiences and their first time. John humorously claims to have connected with “small, tall, you name it” individuals, while another TLC star reflects on the unique experience of intimate connections with little people.
“I lost my virginity to an average-height woman, but after being with those who are average height, I realized being with a little person is just so much easier,” he shares. “When both partners are little, the passion feels more real; at least that’s been my experience.”
