Witney Carson Reveals Baby Bump as She Celebrates Pregnancy with Her Third Child
Expectant Witney Carson is preparing to hit the dance floor for a special trio performance in Dancing With the Stars season 35.
“Thank you for all the love yesterday regarding our third little one on the way,” Carson, 32, shared through her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, August 18, along with a selfie from the DWTS rehearsal space. “I’m thrilled to finally share it with all of you.”
Wearing low-rise Old Navy jeans and a black Aritzia tank top, Carson lifted the hem to display her growing baby bump.
In the next slide, Carson introduced her dance partner. (She revealed on Good Morning America on Monday, August 17, that she would be teamed up with Jimmy Kimmel Live! host Guillermo Rodriguez.)
“When you already love your partner on day one,” she captioned a video with Rodriguez, 55, during rehearsal on Wednesday.
In the video, Rodriguez asked, “Where have you been?” and Carson cheekily replied, “Nobody knows me like you do,” lip-syncing a popular TikTok sound.
During her segment on GMA, the current mirrorball champion expressed her excitement about dancing with Rodriguez.
“I think he’s incredibly sweet and fun,” she remarked. “That’s just what I need in this season of life, someone who’s fun and personable.”
Not only did Carson unveil her DWTS season 35 partnership, but she also shared her pregnancy announcement on GMA. (Carson and her husband, Carson McAllister, are already proud parents to sons Leo, 5, and Jet, 3.)
“I’d be lying if I said this isn’t daunting. I’ve never been this far along in my pregnancy while competing on Dancing With the Stars,” Carson commented on the morning show. “I’m proud to be a woman creating life, and being able to do the show and compete is such a tremendous blessing.”
Carson later announced the joyful news on Instagram.
“We’ve been keeping a secret … a new member of the McAllister family is on the way!” she captioned a post featuring her sons holding ultrasound images. “We are beyond grateful and excited to expand our family.”
Carson’s DWTS friends inundated her comments with congratulations.
“So thrilled for you all!!!!” Lindsay Arnold, who welcomed her third child earlier this summer, exclaimed, with Daniella Karagach, Peta Murgatroyd, and Julianne Hough also offering their best wishes.
Carson’s 34-year-old partner, Robert Irwin, chimed in, “SO EXCITED FOR YOU GUYS!!!!!!!”
Carson and Rodriguez are set to cha-cha their way to the mirrorball trophy alongside Ciara Miller, Maura Higgins, and Jackson Olson, along with several more yet-to-be-announced celebrity contestants. The complete roster of pro dancers has not been revealed yet.
Dancing With the Stars season 35 will premiere on ABC and Disney+ on Tuesday, September 15, and Wednesday, September 16, at 8 p.m. ET, with episodes available for streaming on Hulu the following day.
