Selena Gomez looked stunning and was apparently en route to a special occasion ahead of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s rumored rehearsal dinner.
On Thursday, July 2, Gomez, 33, showcased her impeccable makeup and hair as she drove in her car, with many fans speculating she was heading to Madison Square Garden in New York City to celebrate her longtime friend’s big day.
In a video posted on Gomez’s Instagram Story, the Only Murders in the Building star wore a black, strapless gown adorned with floral cutouts along the bodice.
With her hair styled in a sleek bun, Gomez highlighted her teardrop diamond Flicker Short Earrings by Fernando Jorge. She also sported a matching Flicker Ring set with 0.84 carats of pear-cut diamonds.
The former Disney Channel star was seen using her airpods while pulling out a berry-hued lipstick from her Rare Beauty collection.
Ariana Grande’s “7 Rings” played in the background of the getting-ready clip, which ended with Gomez showcasing her lipstick to the camera.
Gomez — who tied the knot with Benny Blanco in September 2025 — appeared to be attending the event solo, having recently shared her time away from her husband while filming OMITB in London earlier this summer.
While Gomez didn’t disclose her destination, fans speculated that she was headed to Swift, 36, and Kelce’s rehearsal dinner, reportedly taking place at MSG that evening.

“Taylor and Travis instructed guests to be in NYC. No other location was specified,” the insider disclosed on Wednesday, July 1. “They are investing a considerable amount — in the millions.”
