Kotb will conclude her time on Today with a special “Hoda-bration” episode on January 10, after which Craig Melvin will step into her role alongside Savannah Guthrie. Jenna Bush Hager will remain cohosting the fourth hour with a variety of guest hosts until a permanent co-anchor is appointed.
