Pregnant Witney Carson Responds to News of Having a Third Boy: ‘Absolutely No Disappointment’
Witney Carson was always meant to be a boy mom, and she has fully accepted that baby No. 3 will be another son.
“‘I’m so sorry you didn’t get your girl…’” Carson, 32, shared on Instagram on Tuesday, September 22, seemingly addressing the reactions of some about her third baby being a boy, after welcoming sons Leo and Jet in 2021 and 2023, respectively.
The Dancing With the Stars professional, however, revealed that she is not concerned about “having a girl.”
“There is genuinely no disappointment here,” Carson stated. “I have the privilege of being the mama to THREE beautiful boys, and I couldn’t feel more grateful, blessed, or excited. 🩵.”
The professional dancer added, “God knew exactly what our family needed, and I can’t wait to meet the precious little boy who completes us. 🥹.”
Carson announced on August 17 that she and husband Carson McAllister are expecting their third child as she geared up for season 35 of DWTS, following her previous season win with Robert Irwin.
“I would be lying if I said it wasn’t quite daunting. I’ve never been this far along in a pregnancy while competing on Dancing With the Stars, ever,” said Carson, who has been married since 2016, on Good Morning America. “I don’t know if it’s ever been done.”
The TV personality, who is paired with Guillermo Rodriguez this season, expressed her hope to meet the challenge.
“I’m so proud to be a woman, to be creating life and nurturing this human, and to be participating in the show and competing … is such a significant blessing,” Carson continued.
On Monday, September 21, Carson and McAllister, 33, shared a video on Instagram, disclosing the sex of their new baby.
“Baby McAllister number 3 is a…” they teased in a joint post, as Carson and McAllister faced away from their boys at the dock’s edge.
Leo, 5, and Jet, 3, then opened an envelope sitting in a basket filled with blue and pink flowers, confirming that they will soon welcome a little brother.
When Carson turned around, Leo presented her and McAllister with the blue bouquet while Jet handed their mom the pink flowers. However, Carson noted in her caption that they are indeed expecting another boy.
“We couldn’t be happier or feel more blessed with all these boys,” she expressed. “I love being a boy mom. My greatest honor in life is raising them.”
