Taylor Swift has trimmed her hair even shorter.
The 36-year-old artist unveiled her new look on Friday, October 2, through a post on her official Taylor Nation’s Instagram Story. In the image, Swift’s honey blonde locks fell to her shoulders, appearing to have more layers than when she attended the 2026 MTV VMAs on Sunday, September 27. Her hair was styled in loose curls, with bangs elegantly blown out over her forehead.
For her makeup, Swift opted for a natural look featuring luminous skin, winged eyeliner, voluminous lashes, and a soft pink lip. She paired a maroon sweater with a button-up neckline and a gentle collar. The “Patient Zero” singer matched her ensemble with tan pleated pants and a black leather belt accented with gold hardware.
At the VMAs, where Swift was honored with two Moon Person awards, her hair fell just past her collarbone and was styled straight and down.
Earlier in August, Swift had already showcased a shorter haircut. During her first public appearance since marrying Travis Kelce, her hair was cut a few inches below her shoulders, marking a striking change from her usual waist-length locks. At that time, her hair was parted in the middle, styled down, and her bangs were neatly arranged over her forehead.
She complemented her new hairstyle with a lavender Delphine dress that featured a low-cut neckline, an A-line skirt embellished with pink sparkly florals, and spaghetti straps. To enhance her look, she carried a crystal-embellished Christian Louboutin purse and wore Aquazzura heels, a Cartier watch, a tennis bracelet, along with her stunning engagement ring.
Swift flaunted her new haircut again later that month at the wedding of Oli Jacobs and Laura Sisk in Bath, Gloucestershire, where she looked stunning in a navy dress with a plunging neckline, delicate lace florals, and intricate gold embroidery. For this occasion, her bangs were swept to the side, and the rest of her hair was styled in soft curls.
