Alan Cumming’s Dog Shines in the Style Spotlight in Season 3 of Traitors
The Traitors host Alan Cumming showcases numerous fabulous looks, but his dog Lala might just be the true fashion icon of season 3.
Lala embodies her role as the devoted sidekick by relaxing in her plush dog bed beside Cumming, 59, as he engages in intimate conversations with cast members on the Peacock reality series, and she does it all in style, sporting luxurious cloaks and chic tartans.
It seems that Lala has an inspiring rags-to-riches story, as Cumming and his husband Grant Shaffer adopted her in February 2016, shortly before she made her appearance on The Traitors in season 2.
“When we adopted her from @socialteesnyc, she had just arrived from Costa Rica, where a compassionate vet had rescued her from the streets while she was pregnant,” Cumming disclosed in a 2022 Instagram post. “After her puppies were born and found homes, Lala was left without one (I know!!) until a wonderful American woman brought her back to NYC. She was fostered briefly by another kind lady before she found her forever family with me, Jerry, and @granteepants. Unfortunately, less than a week later, she required emergency surgery due to a piece of gauze being left inside her after her spaying! However, she is both a fighter and a lover, and now she is an internationally adored sensation!”
