Below Deck’s Aesha Scott Had to Remove Guest’s Waste from the Shower
Below Deck Med‘s Aesha Scott shared an unforgettable story about needing to “finger” poop out of a shower drain for a guest on board.
In the Monday, January 27, episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, Aesha, who is 33, was posed a question regarding the grossest task she has undertaken while working on a yacht.
“I don’t want to judge, but the most revolting thing I’ve done for a guest is finger their poop out of the shower drain,” Aesha reminisced. “That’s probably not my highlight moment.”
After a confused response from host Andy Cohen, Aesha clarified, “They pooped in the shower and tried to hide it from me, so they pushed it into the drain and thought that just putting the cover back on would make it disappear.”
She added, “But plumbing doesn’t work that way, leading to a flood. So I took a whiff and discovered the issue [in the shower].”
Viewers of Below Deck were not shocked by Aesha’s story, given her reputation for candid remarks. Recently, she revealed on Below Deck Med that she sends pictures of her bowel movements to her fiancé, Scott “Scotty” Dobson.
“When I have a really large one, I like to show Scott. He’s not a fan, but I do it anyway,” she disclosed in a July 2024 episode. “Every time I send him a picture of my poop, he retorts, ‘Honey, you really don’t need to send me that.’ A simple thank you would be nice.”
Aesha and Scott’s relationship began in high school back in New Zealand, and they reconnected a decade later. The couple made their relationship public in 2020 and got engaged after several years of dating.
“We discussed marriage quite early. The main thing for me was that I wanted it to be a surprise. I didn’t want to see it coming at all,” Aesha exclusively told Us Weekly in June 2024. “We’re aiming for a long engagement. We want to get married in the New Zealand summer—not this summer but next. We have many family and friends who need time to save up for a proper holiday; going to New Zealand isn’t a quick trip.”
Aesha continued with some key insights on maintaining a long-term partnership.
“We are incredibly fortunate in that we both value independence, and we have complete trust in each other,” she remarked to Us at the time. “We have a stable relationship, knowing that every time we finish our respective tasks, we’ll return to one another and everything will continue as usual.”
She concluded, “I genuinely enjoy the balance of having my own space and then coming back for quality time as a couple. If I spent all my time with someone, I think I’d lose my mind because I love to go off on my own, and he feels the same way.”
