Bronwyn Newport Purchases Karlie Kloss’ Met Gala Dress for RHOSLC Reunion
Bronwyn Newport knows how to draw inspiration from the best in fashion.
The 39-year-old stunned in a Carolina Herrera gown while participating in the season 5 reunion of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. On January 9, as Bravo showcased the cast’s outfits, Newport revealed that her vibrant cherry red dress was originally donned by Karlie Kloss during the 2021 Met Gala.
“It was tailored specifically for me to wear/buy,” she informed Bravo, clarifying that the dress was “not a borrowed piece.”
The eye-catching gown featured a daring neckline adorned with floral ruffles along the sleeves, a mini skirt, and an elegant train. Matching Kloss, Newport accessorized with the same silky clutch that Kloss carried when she graced the Met Gala red carpet.

To personalize her look, Newport opted for strappy red Valentino heels paired with diamond rings and earrings from Melissa Kaye.
Newport’s makeup perfectly enhanced her look, curated by makeup artist Sophia Vallejos, who applied long lashes, nude eyeshadow, rosy cheeks, and a vibrant red lip. Her hair, styled by Jacob Rozenberg, featured a middle part and a chic chin-length blowout.
During Kloss’s appearance in the gown, she dazzled with dangling diamond earrings, nude nails, and black pointed-toe stilettos.
Newport later took to Instagram to express her gratitude for wearing Kloss’s gown: “I am incredibly thankful to designer Wes Gordon and @carolinaherrera for retrieving Karlie Kloss’s original Met Gala dress from their archives and customizing it for me for this significant occasion and for my own collection.”
