Demi Moore’s Dog Pilaf Offers Words of Comfort Following 2025 Oscars Loss
No need to worry, Demi Moore’s furry friend Pilaf has a supportive message after her loss at the 2025 Oscars.
“My winner every day!! I love you, mommy!! Couldn’t be prouder,” the dog’s Instagram account captioned a photo on Thursday, March 6, featuring Moore, 62, with Pilaf perched on her head.
The 4-year-old Micro Chihuahua’s account shared another picture that day, where she was cozied up in Moore’s lap. (Pilaf has gained her own fame as Moore’s companion, even gracing the cover of Vogue in August 2024.)
“Wholesome fry fest!! Emotional support Pilaf reporting for duty!!!” the caption read. “Love to everyone and every dog!”
The second image was taken during Moore’s post-Oscars hotel celebration, where she indulged in two big bowls of French fries on Sunday, March 2, after not winning the Academy Award for Best Actress against Mikey Madison.
After the event, Moore shared numerous photos from the glamorous awards night. In one shot, she posed with her daughters Rumer, 36, Scout, 33, and Tallulah, 31, at the Vanity Fair Oscars Party. (Moore shares her daughters with ex-husband Bruce Willis.)
“My beautiful dates to #VFOscars,” she wrote. “I couldn’t have done any of this without the unwavering support of my girls! Love you endlessly!”
Moore also bid farewell to the 2025 awards season in another post.
“#VFOscars in custom @gucci,” she mentioned on Tuesday, March 4. “The perfect final look for this wild ride!”
The actress was the frontrunner for Best Actress at the Oscars after winning the Golden Globe and SAG Award for her performance in The Substance. However, Madison, 25, won the award over Moore, and also left behind competition from Wicked’s Cynthia Erivo, Emilia Pérez’s Karla Sofía Gascón, and I’m Still Here’s Fernanda Torres.
“This feels so surreal,” Madison expressed on Sunday. “Excuse my nerves, I’ll be reading from a paper. Thank you immensely to the Academy. I grew up in Los Angeles, but Hollywood always seemed so distant to me. So, standing here today in this moment is truly astounding.”
Playing a stripper in Anora, Madison also acknowledged the “sex worker community” during her speech.
“I will continue to support and stand as an ally,” she added. “The women I’ve had the honor to meet from that community have marked the highlights of this beautiful journey.”
