Did Brittany Mahomes Attend the Chiefs vs. Texans Game After Welcoming Baby No. 3?
Brittany Mahomes is embracing her new role as a mother of three while being the ultimate supporter of her husband, Patrick Mahomes.
Brittany, aged 29, attended the Kansas City Chiefs’ playoff game against the Houston Texans on Saturday, January 18, just days after welcoming their third child. She was seen sharing a kiss with Patrick, also 29, before the game while donning a camel puffer coat featuring No. 15 on the pockets.
Meanwhile, Patrick was on the field with his teammates at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri, participating in the Chiefs’ first playoff game of the 2024-2025 NFL postseason. The team secured the No. 1 seed in the AFC, having completed a bye week during the previous wild card round.
Patrick’s break coincided with the arrival of their third baby. The couple, who also share a daughter, Sterling (3), and a son, Bronze (2), announced on Instagram on Monday, January 13, that their daughter, Golden, was born the day prior.
“•Golden Raye Mahomes• 1/12/25🎀✨,” they shared with a joint post featuring their newborn’s feet.
After the Chiefs secured their bye week, Patrick shared with reporters that he was determined to achieve that advantage at the right moment for welcoming their new child.
“I told my pregnant wife I was going to get the No. 1 seed so we could go have that baby,” he noted in December 2024.
At that time, Patrick shared that Brittany was set to give birth “any day now.”
“Brittany says I’ve been stressing her out too much this season,” he revealed. “So, I have to be mindful not to add to her stress during these football games — and secure that bye.”
Patrick mentioned, “Hopefully, God orchestrates everything perfectly so we can welcome our baby during the bye week. Then, all will be well.”
Patrick also suggested that Brittany would continue to cheer him on during the postseason despite her busy schedule.
“MVP ‘cause she’ll go in [to the playoffs] and she’ll crush it,” he praised. “We’ll have three little ones to care for, and I can take my time focusing on football and nurturing our children.”
Earlier this month, Patrick shared that he managed to keep up with preparations for the playoffs as he and Brittany awaited the arrival of their newborn.
“It was great that football was on while I was in the hospital; I got to catch a few games,” he noted in a press conference. “Brittany was gracious enough to allow us to enjoy some football while she prepared to give birth to our second daughter.”
