Disney Stars Over the Years: Miley Cyrus, Lindsay Lohan, and Others

Miley Cyrus, Lindsay Lohan, Selena Gomez, and many other well-known personalities began their careers on the Disney Channel — a foundation they always cherish.

Cyrus gained popularity by portraying Hannah Montana and Miley Stewart in Hannah Montana from 2006 to 2011. Meanwhile, Gomez starred in Wizards of Waverly Place from 2007 to 2012.

Before their respective successes in the early to mid-2000s, Lohan was already a staple at Disney. While she didn’t have her own series, she appeared in several Disney films and Channel Original movies, including the 2002 hit Get a Clue.

Since their Disney beginnings, all three actresses have moved on to even greater achievements — and they’re not the only ones.
