Is That Prince Archie? Meghan Markle Shares a Glimpse in Her Latest Home Video
Meghan Markle is offering a glimpse into her life as a mother of two.
On Sunday, February 23, the Duchess of Sussex, 43, posted a series of clips from her backyard on her Instagram Story, captioning it, “A small break from work to soak in the weekend.”
In one clip, Markle visited a lily pond, while another showed her kneeling down to pet a dog that wandered by. She captured a close-up of the blooming flowers in her yard, writing, “First blooms and blossoms of the year.”
During a moment in the backyard where she was watering plants, Markle handed the hose to a small child who began spraying the yard. The little hands appeared to belong to a 5-year-old. (Markle shares sons Archie, 5, and Lilibet, 3, with her husband, Prince Harry.)
In a radiant video, Markle smiled with the sun behind her, and in another, she picked fruit from her tree, squeezing a lemon into a beverage.
This peek into Markle’s life comes shortly after she revealed the new name for her upcoming lifestyle brand, As Ever, which was previously called American Riviera.
“Last year, I thought, ‘American Riviera, that’s a great name,’” Markle shared in an Instagram video. “It’s a nickname for Santa Barbara and my neighborhood, but it limited me to things produced and grown only in this area.”
Markle — whose Netflix series With Love, Meghan premieres on March 4 — explained that she decided to change the brand name when “Netflix came on board, not just as my partner in the show, but as my business partner” — a significant shift she labeled as “huge.”
“I’ve been waiting for the right moment to share a name I secured in 2022, and now is that moment. It’s called As Ever,” she continued. “As Ever essentially means ‘as it’s always been,’ and if you’ve followed me since 2014 with The Tig [her former lifestyle blog], you know I’ve always had a passion for cooking, crafting, and gardening — that’s who I am. I haven’t been able to share that with you in the same way for the past few years, but now I can. As things begin to unfold, I wanted you to hear it from me first.”
A photo shared via the As Ever website featured Lilibet making a rare appearance alongside Markle. The mother-daughter duo was seen barefoot and hand-in-hand in matching white dresses across a green field.
